Timothée Chalamet will star in “High Side”, the last film where motorcycles have a leading role again

Timothée Chalamet and James Mangold return to work together in “High Side”the last film directed by the renowned New York director. In addition, as already happened in A Complete Unknown, motorcycles have a main role along the entire plot.

However, this time the argument is far from the quiet story that hugged the previous film. In return, we can enjoy a thriller who mixes speed, robberies and danger in a thrilling way.

“High Side”: a biker thriller, with Chalamet as the protagonist

Timothée Chalamet has become a current cinema icon for star performances in films such as Complete Unknown. Directed by James Mangold, he achieved 8 Oscar awards nominations, even in some of the most important categories such as “Best Film.” The tape captures the transformation of Bob Dylan into a musical icon and has the presence of a key element in the artist’s life: a Triumph Bonneville T100 of 1964, the same motorcycle that defined his image and accompanied him in some of the most decisive moments of his career.

Now with “High Side” based on an unprecedented original story by Jaime Oliveira, as described from Deadline “Billy is an expilot, tormented by an accident that ended his career and a family legacy of abandonment, but returns to the world of high -speed risks and extreme danger. His distanced brother, who is already being persecuted by the FBI, recruits him for a series of robberies to benches in Superbikes.”

But as bets increase, Lennox, an FBI agent who has a complicated story with school, is approaching while the team prepares its biggest blow: a banking bank synchronized with a large motorcycle parade.”

About the movie, Mangold has said: “David, Dana and Josh demonstrate a great commitment to the original and narrative cinema on the big screen, and this passion facilitated us Timothée, Peter and me to accept this project. Timothée is a trusted collaborator, a generational artist and a person I love. I am looking forward to getting to work and return to work together.” Its premiere is initially scheduled for the month of December 2026.
