The work that Triumph has been and is doing to land with all its power in the world of off road is undeniable. First they presented us with their motocross project and now, it is the turn of enduro. Just as they did with figures like Ricky Carmichael or Iván Tedesco, they have great figures in the specialty.
Heading up the entire Triumph Racing enduro project is four-time Enduro World Champion and Triumph stuntman in the James Bond films, Paul Edmondson, who will be the Team Manager, will use his experience to guide the British brand’s path forward. This path includes participation in the FIM SuperEnduro and EnduroGP World Championships in 2025, the AMA EnduroCross series and other major events.
One of Paul’s responsibilities will be to lead Triumph Racing’s factory enduro programme, in order to get their bikes to the most demanding and prestigious competitions in the discipline. His experience and solvency are more than proven, as he has even been working with the TF 250-X.
Triumph Racing’s goal is to become one of the benchmarks in international enduro
And if Edmonson will play an important role in Triumph’s enduro project, Jonny Walker will play an equally important role. Although he has never won a championship, he is one of the legends of the sport thanks to his great performances in the iconic Red Bull Erzbergrodeo and his victories in Super Enduro.
Walker will step onto the TF 250 next month for his competitive debut at the Indoor Enduro of Champions at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena. And naturally, he is excited and hopeful about the role they will be able to play in the quest to win championships in the future:
“It’s amazing to be part of the team and I’m looking forward to working with Triumph in the future. Hopefully we can get off to a good start, get the bike on the top step of the podium and win some championships!”
