For its part, the tread design of the new Roadtec 02 is inspired by that of the Sportec M9 RR tire to achieve sporty performance, providing the correct tire flexibility and efficient water evacuation.
The tread pattern increases the full/empty ratio, thus increasing the footprint and making it more uniform as the inclination angle varies, to ensure a smoother and more precise ride.

The rear tires are dual compound, with the center section extending approximately 20% of the width of the tire, while the remaining 80% is divided equally between the two shoulders.
The use of different plasticizing resins differentiates the rigidity of the two rear compounds, while offering stability at high speeds, grip on inclines and safety in the wet.
