  • Blind Spot Detection: Actively monitors the driver’s blind spot spots, detecting vehicles that are rapidly approaching or overtaking in adjacent lanes, providing immediate alerts to improve awareness of the environment and avoid potential collisions.
  • Lane Change Assist: Proactively alerts the pilot of potential collision risks when initiating a lane change, helping to prevent unsafe maneuvers and improving overall road safety.
  • Overtaking alert: monitors vehicles approaching from behind in adjacent lanes with the intention of overtaking, especially in blind spots, offering timely visual signals to the driver.
  • Rear Collision Warning: Detects potential rear-end collision risks and instantly communicates alerts to the driver through the integrated mirrors with UV HyperSense. At the same time, the system activates the emergency lights to warn approaching vehicles, increasing safety in critical situations.

Ultraviolette UV Crossfade

Ultraviolette has also presented the UV Crossfade, its first helmet with a carbon fiber outer shell, a very light material that is also very resistant. This helmet integrates a connectivity module with real-time information with Ultraviolette motorcycles. In addition, the Cardo device offers fluid connectivity between pilots and driving groups through the communication network between drivers (Mesh network).

The helmet features a carbon fiber outer shell and fiberglass inner layers, with a total weight of 1,380 g (+/- 50 g). Complies with the global standard ECE 22.06 for European markets, guaranteeing the highest safety standards. In this way, with the UV Crossfade Ultraviolette offers total connectivity between the motorcycle and the rider, complementing the existing solutions of the Cardo company.

Thanks to the Dynamic Alert Sequencing system (DAS), the advanced software analyzes, evaluates and prioritizes traffic alerts in real time, allowing the pilot to react quickly and safely. When the helmet is connected to the local Mesh network or to remote phone calls, the DAS interface evaluates incoming notifications from the motorcycle and dynamically assigns them to the rider’s connected Cardo unit.
