Up to 75 HP for a light sports car that promises great sensations

Not even six months have passed since Kove updated its current 450RR, when everything seems to indicate that it could already have its successor almost ready, the new Kove 475RR. A trend that the Chinese brand usually follows in improving its current range of models. A constant evolution with a clear objective: To become the best “half-liter” sports car on the market at this time.

A task that is not at all easy, taking into account the level at which its most direct competitors operate. Starting with the precursor of this resurgence of radical sports cars in small format, the Kawasaki ZX-4RR. But also other truly effective and interesting rivals, such as the CFMoto 500SR Voom or the radical ZXMoto 500RR.

Kove 475RR 2026: What we know

According to Cycle World, Kove has requested the registration of patents related to the new engine that will power the 475RR. Let us remember that the current 450RR increases its displacement to 443 cc from the 400 cc that the initial version of this four-cylinder engine had. Currently the model declares a final power of 70 HP at 13,000 rpm and 39 Nm of maximum torque at 9,000 rpm.

That is why it is expected that after the new update of its capacity, the benefit figures will also rise. Although the main architecture of the block will be maintained, everything suggests that its interior design could have been completely renovated. As a result, the Chinese firm is expected to announce performance in the range of 75 HP, although this is a fact that has not yet been officially confirmed.

Kove 475RR: New twist to the model in search of supremacy within the category

The rest of the set seems to share most of the elements that until now make up the main structure of the model. For example, the chassis and braking equipment would remain completely unchanged. Not so the swingarm, which shows a general redesign, like the body of the 475RR, newly made and with even sharper and more aerodynamic lines than the one that is destined to be its predecessor.

To do this, the Asian firm has completely remodeled the key elements of the set, such as the fuel tank or the rear section of the motorcycle. The changes also seem to reach the suspension section with a rear shock absorber now equipped with an independent adjustment control. But this is not all, since Kove’s records also reveal the possible arrival of a new 250RR variant.

Kove 475RR: New twist to the model in search of supremacy within the category

As with the 475RR, the brand has focused its efforts on renewing the aesthetic part, showing off a new tank, seat and rear tail. In this case, the silhouette looks less sharp at the front than it does in the current version, but it is compensated by the addition of a single-sided swingarm, with a high exhaust outlet, leaving the entire section of this element fully visible, as well as a set of redesigned wheels.

Mechanically, no changes are expected, so the 250RR would maintain the power values (32 HP) and maximum torque unchanged with respect to the variant sold by Kove this season. Now we just have to wait for new information about both models and the possibility of them being marketed in our territory, something that is not confirmed at the moment.
