What a man needs to be happy

It is not the first time that we have shown you Richard Hammond’s motorcycle collection, but it is a first that he shows us each and every one of the motorcycles in detail.

There are them for all tastes, from different periods and with very different stories. What is common in all of them is the good taste of “the Hamster” when choosing them.

Richard Hammond and his unconditional love for 2 wheels

Hammond is already British television history thanks to his participation in the two most watched motor shows in history: Top Gear and The Grand Tour. And although both focused their themes on the world of automobiles, in general terms, he has always left evidence of his passion for two wheels. Something, on the other hand, that the great Jeremy Clarkson did not understand and bothered in equal measure.

After the end of this television stage, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May They founded Drivetribe, a platform that includes an official website, as well as accounts on the main social networks and of course a YouTube channel.

Under the motto “Now the home of epic motorsport and fast-paced adventure”, obviously referring to this new franchise, they explain their adventures around the passion they profess for cars in general and motorcycles in particular.

This is the case of May and of course Richard Hammond, who has recently published a video on this same channel where he shows us his complete collection of motorcycles. This includes everything from a BMW R90S from the mid-nineties to an RT1200. But this is just the beginning, since later he recreates the personal history he has with his incredible ZXR750 H1.

Right next to this we find an iconic 250 cc KR1S. A true “replica racer 2T” that any petrolhead would want to have in their garage. Throughout the next almost 20 minutes we can delight ourselves with such relevant models in the history of the two-wheeled sector as a 1929 BMW, Brough Superior, Suzuki Katana, GSXR11OO, a pair of Ducati 916, one of them a special Carl Fogarty SPS edition, etc.

Richard Hammond exhibits the motorcycle collection we all dream of

The visual orgy is completed with other legends of the industry such as a Desmo 900SS, a Supreme from the 30s, a pair of classic Bonnevilles or an exclusive CB750 Seeley. There is still more, but we encourage you to enjoy the video in its entirety.

Of course, put on your bib before starting and repeat this mantra in your head a few times if you don’t want to end up crying in the corners: “Money does not buy happiness”… Or so they say, although Hammond could be the exception that meets the rule based on the perennial smile he wears on his face while he talks to us about his spectacular collection of motorcycles.

Happy drivers
