When passion can reason

Carlos Bartualphotographer specialized in classical motorcycling, presents its latest audiovisual project, “To Another Level”where it fuses restoration, emotion and cinematography. It shows us in detail the story about the restoration of one of the most iconic mounts of the late nineties, the Suzuki GSX-R 600 Srad. In addition, it offers its own tribute to that passionate part that lives in those crazy people of the two wheels and especially in the inveterate lovers of the Old School.

Somehow, what began as a personal challenge has finally evolved to becoming a large audiovisual project. The process started in 2015 with the purchase of the motorcycle, although the restoration did not start until 2019, at which time Carlos got to work to reach his long -awaited goal.

“To Another Level”: the restoration brought to another level

After a consolidated trajectory in specialized publications as yesterday motorcycles and classical motorcycling, Bartual decided to make the leap to the videography to capture in motion what until then had only immortalized in snapshots. Next to Nicolás Castelló and Jesús Orricohe transformed the history of this restoration into a film production to which he ended up baptizing under the name of “To Another Level”.

In this project, completely filmed in the Valencian Community, it highlights an extraordinary level of detail and quality, thanks to having scenarios ranging from the streets of Valencia to the curves of Montanejos and Cortes de Pallás. About this explains Carlos himself: “Each location was thoroughly selected to transmit the essence of speed and passion for the engine.”

"To Another Level": When passion can reason

Throughout the recording of “To Another Level”, the team exceeded multiple challenges, including a global pandemic and, above all, a fall with the already restored motorcycle that, in addition to the logical material damage, involved a hard physical recovery. Despite the setbacks, Carlos’s determination never faltered and embarked again in the process of restoring Suzuki.

For the filming of “To Another Level” two very clear rules were established: all the images must be captured by the team itself and also must offer impeccable quality. To capture each angle with millimeter precision, the filming equipment used Sony, Canon and GoPro cameras, in addition to DJI drones for shocking air shots.

To bring this plan to fruition, personalized supports were designed and manufactured; Advanced filming techniques were also used to do justice to the process of this restoration. In any case, beyond mechanics and image, this project is, in the words of its creators, “A love letter to restoration and classical motorcycling.”

The truth is that the Suzuki GSX-R 600 Srad has reborn with a special brightness, demonstrating that the classic is still more alive than ever. Now, after years of dedication, the final result is this cinematographer video clip that will be officially presented before the public next Saturday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m., in one of the most important events of the Valencian Community, Racing Legends 2025.
