After a year away from the calendar, MotoGP returns to the iconic MotorLand circuit for the 2024 GoPro MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, after an exciting Austrian GP and a few days of well-deserved rest.
The weekend, from August 30th to September 1st, MotoGP Aragon will be the scene of an intense title battle, which remains very close. After the races at the Red Bull Ring, Pecco Bagnaia has taken over as the new leader of the premier class. However, the Spaniard Jorge Martin is only five points behind the Italian and will undoubtedly be looking to regain his position in the standings.

Motorland Aragón circuit ready for action
Motorland Aragón was born in 2009 in response to concerns about the safety of the historic Alcañiz street circuit. Designed by the renowned Hermann Tilke, the 5.077km layout, with 17 corners and significant elevation changes, joined the MotoGP calendar in 2010 and was awarded the best Grand Prix of the season in its first year. Located near Alcañiz, it was only absent from the world championship in 2023. Resurfaced for its return, the circuit is under contract with Dorna until at least 2026.
Well, we now have all the information we need to enjoy a MotoGP Aragon race weekend that promises to be very exciting. Will there be another change of leader in this back-and-forth between Pecco and Martinator? We’ll see!
