Yamalube Yart Yamaha, sponsored by Bridgestone, manages to win the EWC 2025 world title

The Yart Yamaha team, sponsored by Bridgestone, has won the title of the World Resistance Championship (EWC) 2025 of the FIM, the most important series in the world of motorcycling resistance racing, after getting second place at the end of the season of the Bol d’Or, held in France on September 20 and 21.

Compeating with Bridgestone Battlax tires, Yart Yamaha champion title is the sixth time and the fifth consecutive year that a team mounted with Japanese brand tires wins the title EWC.

The race was, as usual, full of emotion and surprises, with the BMW Motorrad World Endurance team, also sponsored by Bridgestone, practically world champion until just 30 minutes before the end, when a mechanical problem forced them to retire while occupying the second position.

The other two teams backed by the Japanese brand, FCC TSR Honda France and Kawasaki Webike Trickstar, also had to leave the race prematurely due to technical problems, which underlines the difficulty and challenge that all races of the FIM world resistance championship represent.

Even so, it was a truly memorable race for the teams supported by Bridgestone, with Yoshimura Sert Motul achieving the victory in the last race of the season. In addition, the four teams that occupy the top positions in the final classification of the World Championship are equipped with the company’s tires, which reflects a really exceptional 2025 season.

Bridgestone tires for maximum race performance

Bridgestone has supported the teams that participate in the complete EWC series with the Battlax brand’s tire supply since 2017. In the 2025 championship, the brand expanded its role as an exclusive tire provider to five EWC teams. With races that last between 8 and 24 hours, the EWC submits tires to enormous stress and requires exceptional durability.

Being subject to these extreme conditions, Bridgestone competition tires are designed with technology and advanced materials to provide maximum grip, maneuverability and durability, allowing the equipment to perform to the maximum throughout the race. In addition, their competition tires are designed to offer excellent performance in various weather conditions, which provides pilots for the confidence they need to give everything in each situation.

Nico ThuyMoto Director of Bridgestone Emeacommented: “We are delighted with Yart Yamaha and with all our fantastic EWC teams sponsored by Bridgestone after another memorable season and full of successes. The FIM EWC is the definitive test for pilots and machines, and the tires play a crucial role when helping these teams to overcome the limits. We are very proud that our Bridgestone tires have contributed to the other title further.”
