GIVI expands its family of Canyon products to, in addition to dressing the motorcycle, now also dress the rider. The new GRT731 technical backpack and the GRT732 waist bag close the circle of adventure equipment, between the motorcycle and its rider. Since its birth, the Canyon family of bags has established itself among trail and maxienduro devotees as an efficient solution for soft, light, water-, dust- and mud-resistant luggage.
However, the pace of enduro demands solutions for immediate access to tools and hydration without altering the weight distribution of the motorcycle. With the launch of these two new products, GIVI transfers its know-how in transportation engineering to the driver’s body, ensuring that the equipment forms a single piece with his movements on the track.
Both novelties have been manufactured under strict parameters of the REACH regulations using highly durable materials such as Ripstop Nylon, Hypalon and Polyesterprotected against wear and tear caused by rays UV (ref. ISO 4892–2). To reinforce safety on link sections or days with low light, both the GRT731 and GRT732 incorporate high-visibility reflective prints.
GIVI Canyon GRT731 Backpack
With a volume of 12 liters and designed to support up to 4 kg technical loadthe backpack GRT731 places comfort and functionality at the center of the adventure. Its main compartment is optimized to accommodate hydration bags up to 3 liters (with specific support for the GIVI T523 HydraPak 2L), with the possibility of guiding the tube to both sides using loops integrated into the straps to drink on the go with complete naturalness.
To avoid rocking on the bumpiest sections, GIVI has developed a studied harness with 4 adjustment points (two upper and two lower) combined with a stabilizing chest strap. Its ergonomic back panel integrates mesh padding and two high density EVA insertsa tandem that guarantees shock absorption and a constant air flow on the most physically demanding days.
The internal organization is completed with a secondary space with MOLLE elastics for tools and the representative Hypalon outer flap Adjustable to quickly add extra load. The Canyon GRT731 12-liter backpack is now available and has a recommended price of 145 euros.
GIVI Canyon GRT732 waist bag
Designed for those looking to lighten their back as much as possible without giving up essential material, the fanny pack GRT732 condenses in its 8 liters capacity great technological versatility. Its differential feature is a rear compartment 100% waterproof with roll-top closure, the perfect guarantee to protect documentation, electronic accessories or spare clothing from heavy rain or mud splashes.
Despite its compact size, the GRT732 includes a hydration bladder of up to 1.5 liters in its front pocket, the tube of which runs cleanly through the zippered side pockets. Its rear structure adapts to the waist using a 3D EVA panel reinforced with non-slip side areas, preventing the fanny pack from moving during standing piloting.
Like the backpack, it has a flap Hypalon extendable front to gain storage capacity in seconds.
