The LDK team shows us their latest project from their facilities in Vélez-Málaga: Harley Softail Fat Boy “Liberator”a careful tribute to Captain America who appears with various models of motorcycles from the legendary American brand in some of his films. Once again, Francisco Ali Manen and his team delight us with a high-level preparation full of personality.
According to Lord Drake Kustoms’ own team, the preparation that they present to us today is inspired by the WLA model of the same name that dates back to 1942. This was used by the US army during World War II, and is the same one that the superhero rides on. the movie “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
Harley Softail Fat Boy “Liberator” in detail
According to Fran Manen himself, this could be a street version of the custom motorcycle that the Marvel superhero would use, but in his free time. Basically, because it has nothing to do in terms of equipment with the original Liberator from 1942, which had, among others, an ammunition box, a leather case for shotguns, a siren, and a host of military support gadgets.
Our Liberator today has custom wheels, the rear shod with a 240 mm tire. It also has Legend air suspension and a Supertrapp Paul Yaffe X exhaust system that perfectly reminds us of the barrels of a machine gun, although their sound is more forceful and serious.
Medium hanging handlebars, a large custom tank, custom front fender are other elements worth highlighting. Like the digital Dakota odometer or the indicators on the Motogadget grips that give the necessary modern touch to this Harley Softail Fat Boy “Liberator”.
As for the finishes, the LDK team has opted for Porsche’s elegant “Oak Metallic Green”, instead of a matte military green, as is usually the case on this type of custom motorcycles.
Finally, as a detail, we find the star that represents Captain America’s shield in gold, along with a beautiful custom-made seat upholstered in brown, as well as the matching gas tank tie and cuffs. .
