Little by little we continue to discover everything that the future will bring us CFMoto 800 MT-X 2025once it lands in Europe, which we have been keeping you informed about for approximately a year. That was the moment when the Chinese brand presented all its new products at the last EICMA 2023, which included the CFMoto MT-X Concept. Months later the brand registered some design patents referring to the model.
In May of this same year we saw the first images of the almost final model, confirming the in-line twin-cylinder engine that equips the 790 versions of KTM. Also the use of radial type tires with 21” front and 18” on the rear axle, shod with Offroad tires in sizes 90/90-21 and 150/70-18, as well as a good technological compendium that would include an 8” TFT screen, as an instrument panel, including an elaborate control system, traction, disconnectable and dual-channel Bosch ABS or different Riding Mode.
CFMoto 800 MT-X 2025: Two different versions, the same concept
Now, thanks to our colleagues at Motorrad, we know that the new 800 MT-X could have two very different versions on our continent. Mainly characterized by the use of different suspension settings, as well as a variable seat height. Although the standard version, the 800 MT, has 160 mm and 150 mm of travel, front and rear respectively, the 800 MT-X 2025 versions would greatly increase these figures.
One of them could have dimensions around 190/200 mm, while the one more focused on Offroad would increase these figures to 230/240 mm. Likewise, the seat height could vary between 830 and 870 mm.
Let us remember that the adjustable suspension team uses Kayaba with an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock. The declared wheelbase is approximately 1,530 mm, guaranteeing poise and stability in any condition and terrain.
In terms of performance, the official figures declared by the KTM models continue to be maintained with 95 HP at 8,500 rpm, and 87 Nm of maximum torque at 6,750 rpm. What we do know is the maximum speed approved by the new 800 MT-X, 192 km/h. Also that it used three driving modes: Standard, Rain and Offroad. Likewise, the brand announces a curb weight of 214kgincluding the 22.5 liters of fuel that we can refuel at your tank.
Already on sale in China since this month of October in two color schemes “Spring Breeze Blue” or “Starlight Black”, they have an official price of 53,680 yuan, about 6,900 euros. If CFMoto’s plans come true, it is likely that the brand will begin marketing the model in Europe next spring. Taking into account the price of the current 800 MT Touring, 11,499 euros, the 800 MT-X is likely to end up around 12,000 euros in its entry version.
