There’s nothing like doing a global search for relevant news and coming across this Rocket Cowl Monkey 125a preparation inspired by the Bosozoku culture developed by the Thai company “Advance Automotive Accessories”.
A truly surprising work that highlights, once again, the possibilities that Honda’s small mount offers us and, at the same time, the striking nature of this Japanese movement, at least with regard to the design of its motorcycles.
Rocket Cowl Monkey 125: Pocket Bosozoku
On some other occasion we have brought you preparations related to Bosozoku. For those who do not know this cultural movement, we can tell you that we are talking about a Japanese urban tribe that had its beginnings in the 1950s, and little by little it has been gaining weight in popular culture.
Perhaps the main feature of their preparations is the characteristic front fairing, or the shapes adopted by both the seats and rear parts of the motorcycles used in this type of projects.
Recently, we showed you this Kawasaki GPZ 400 by Tofu Fujiwara, approved in our country by this Bosozoku culture enthusiast. But we have also known other really striking projects like the ones we leave here in case you want to take a look:
Now, this Rocket Cowl Monkey 125 is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular preparations we have seen on Honda’s small Japanese mount. Not only because of the striking colors and finishes in general. There is no doubt that the Thai company Advanced Automotive Accessories has put the rest into the set of accessories used to create the silhouette of this incredible customization.
Among them, of course, the voluminous front fairing stands out, but also the Takeyari style exhaust system, with chrome outlets on both sides. The chopper-type seat, with white upholstery, the lower keel in yellow or the front cover in transparent green, responsible for covering the headlight.
All of this is combined with the radial type rims and wide tires, as well as the profusion of black finishes on many of the mechanical components that are visible on this Rocket Cowl Monkey 125.
To finish off the aesthetic part, the guys at Advanced Automotive Accessories have made a homemade support, anchored to the rear brake caliper, from which emerges a thin metal mast crowned with the flag of Thailand.
Without a doubt, this Rocket Cowl Monkey 125 is a visual experience that more than one of us would love to have in our private garage.
