CFMoto recalls its 700 CL-X Heritage, 650MT and 300NK models

CFMoto has issued several recall statements for different models that make up its range. Three specifically: 700 CL-X Heritage, 650MT and 300NK. Apparently, they have detected that some of the components that equip units manufactured between 2020 and 2022 may not meet the quality standards required by the brand.

On the other hand, there is also suspicion of possible poor installation of specific parts in some examples of the aforementioned models.

CFMoto 700 CL-X Heritage and 650 MT review campaign in detail

In the first of these communications, CFMoto explains that it has detected that some gear change shafts of the 700 CL-X Heritage and 650MT models from 2022 may have been welded below their quality standards. This can cause cracking of the axle and the inability to change gears, posing a safety risk to users.

Affected motorcycles may require replacement of the improperly welded shifter shaft with a properly manufactured component, to ensure continued safety and performance. This replacement will be carried out free of charge at the brand’s authorized technical service centers.

CFMoto 300NK review campaign in detail

Its 300NK model is also another of those affected by this review campaign and possible replacement of components. In this case, the brand has issued up to three statements referring to different problems related to its low-medium displacement naked frame:

  • CFMoto has detected that some high-pressure fuel line assemblies on the 2021 model year 300NK were installed incorrectly, which could cause abnormal gasket wear and pose a risk to rider safety. Affected motorcycles may require replacement of the high-pressure fuel line assembly with a properly installed version to ensure long-term safety and performance.
  • It has also detected that some 2020 model year 300NK engine injector circlips may not meet strict quality standards due to a supplier-related issue, which could cause these circlips to crack and potentially cause a gasoline leak. which poses a risk to the safety of users. Affected motorcycles may require replacement of defective injector circlips with approved components to ensure continued safety and performance.
  • Finally, it has detected that certain lower steering plates and steering axles of the 2020 300NK model may be susceptible to cracking or structural damage under certain conditions, which could affect road safety by affecting stability and control. of the vehicle. Affected motorcycles may require replacement of the lower steering brackets and steering shaft with updated components that meet CFMoto’s strict safety and durability standards.
