China already has a motorcycle, commanded by AI, that learns and adapts to your way of riding

On March 13, on the occasion of the celebration in Shanghai of AWE2026 (Appliance & Electronics World Expo), Fengxun Motorcycle presented in world premiere Gurumaits new mobility technology brand with different ranges based on artificial intelligence.

Within it we can find different car models, including the first manned quadcopter designed for racing, the SFV-1000, worth a million dollars, or an intelligent sports motorcycle that they have named Guruma 1000RR.

Guruma 1000RR in detail

When we say that the Chinese are 20 years ahead of us in technology, it is not a simple way of speaking. The Guruma 1000RR is a good example of this, of finally becoming a production motorcycle. We are talking about a model full of electronic systems similar to those that equip the latest batch of cars.

However, its creators have thought it advisable not to forget that innovation without sensations does not usually come to fruition. That is why they have equipped this technological RR with an internal combustion engine. Specifically, a 1,051 cc tetra-cylinder block that seems to be the same as the one fitted by its compatriot the QJMotor SRK 1051 RR.

We are talking about a propellant that for the occasion declares a final power of 150 HP, 105 Nm of maximum torque and a top speed of 260km/h. The brand also states that, with the 16 liters of fuel that we can hold in its tank, the Guruma 1000RR is capable of offering a range of 400 kilometers.

Beyond the figures approved by the brand, we have the technological aspect as the model’s main commercial claim. To do this, it equips an elaborate electronic system commanded by AI. According to some local media present during his presentation, this is “capable of adaptively learning driving habits and intelligently adjusting brake power and sensitivity.”

The brand promises a machine capable of evolving through Mesh network communication and multiple over-the-air (OTA) updates. To do this, it uses a long list of electronic elements with which to collect information constantly and in real time. Among them, the front and rear radar, four cameras, sensors distributed around the contour of the motorcycle and a six-axis IMU stand out.

To get here, the project’s parent company, Fengxun Motorcycle, has been working for months in collaboration with the Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University. The idea of this agreement is to achieve a “strategic cooperation to define a new future for smart two-wheeled vehicles”. In addition, in parallel, Guruma also unveiled its new 450FR, powered by a twin-cylinder engine from QJMotor.

On an aesthetic level, both the 1000RR and the 450FR follow the style embodied by some of the latest QJ models, which in turn are based on the original MV Agusta designs. All this combined with a benchmark equipment where brands such as Marzocchi or Brembo are in charge of key sections as important as braking or suspensions.

In short, a technical approach that reflects the brand’s idea regarding its future within the motorcycle sector. In the words of one of the directors of Fengxun Motorcycles: “Starting from China, we strive to be a player in the global mobility industry, rather than a participant”. Probably, very soon this objective will materialize, and Guruma will achieve a leading place as a reference technological brand.
