With the sweet taste still in the mouth of the Italjet Dragster 559 Twin presented at EICMA 2023, Italjet is back in action, but this time not in the form of a conceptThe Italian firm has further polished the initial prototype shown at the last Milan Show, which already warned us of what was to come, and the result could not be more satisfactory.
Italjet Dragster 700 Twin in detail
According to the Italian firm, the new Dragster 700 Twin is equipped with a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine, with a double camshaft and 8 valves. The result is 68 HP of power at 8,500 rpm and 70 Nm of maximum torqueBut without a doubt what stands out the most, in mechanical terms, is the 6 speed gearbox which is associated with this propeller.
Who said a scooter was boring? Italjet has set out to silence mouths with the Dragster 700 Twin, but also to revolutionise the sector. In the words of Massimo Tartarini, CEO of the brand: “We don’t like to call it a scooter, but ultimately, end users will decide whether they see it as a scooter or a motorcycle.”
