Dragster 700 Twin Factory, this is the definitive 68 HP and manual transmission scooter from Italjet that they are going to present

Every time we hear about something new from Italjet, we usually get a smile on our face. The latest, the imminent launch of its new Dragster 700 Twin Factory limited edition, a cucumber that looks like the result of a mutation of the Panigale of the Márquez brothers. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the details that the brand itself has published about the device in question.

With the sweet taste still in the mouth of the Italjet Dragster 559 Twin presented at EICMA 2023, Italjet is back in action, but this time not in the form of a conceptThe Italian firm has further polished the initial prototype shown at the last Milan Show, which already warned us of what was to come, and the result could not be more satisfactory.

Italjet Dragster 700 Twin in detail

According to the Italian firm, the new Dragster 700 Twin is equipped with a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine, with a double camshaft and 8 valves. The result is 68 HP of power at 8,500 rpm and 70 Nm of maximum torqueBut without a doubt what stands out the most, in mechanical terms, is the 6 speed gearbox which is associated with this propeller.

Who said a scooter was boring? Italjet has set out to silence mouths with the Dragster 700 Twin, but also to revolutionise the sector. In the words of Massimo Tartarini, CEO of the brand: “We don’t like to call it a scooter, but ultimately, end users will decide whether they see it as a scooter or a motorcycle.”

The technical specifications that we already know about the new Dragster 700 Twin Factory are:

  • Custom black/gold livery
  • Akrapovic exhaust system
  • Öhlins rear suspension and steering damper
  • Brembo calipers
  • DucaBike clutch cover with a transparent viewing window

These improvements will only be available in the limited Factory launch edition for which Italjet will open the reservation period on Next Friday, July 12th. The brand clarifies that “Pre-orders will close right after the grand opening at EICMA in November or when sold out, whichever comes first.””.
