The new KYMCO Sky Town 125 ABS scooter already has an official launch date in Spain, the first country in the world where it will be available. It will be on September 2, and will be available to users at all official KYMCO points in Spain. Carlos WangGeneral Manager of KYMCO Spain, said:

KYMCO’s new urban scooter, the first to be equipped as standard with the KY30 trunkcomes equipped with a new engine chassis and safety equipment, combined with a compact design that makes it the lightest and lowest scooter to date. In the mechanical section, the Taiwanese firm is betting on a single-cylinder air-cooled engine powered by an electronic injection system. The brand declares a maximum power of 11 HP at 8,500 rpmwhile the total torque figure, 10.6 Nm, reaches 6,500 rpm. All this with an approved consumption of 2.5 liters per 100 km.
The chassis features a new frame, which is 20% more rigid and has a new engine mount that offers great stability and control. The suspension consists of a conventional front fork and a pair of lateral shock absorbers at the rear.
Braking is provided by 220mm and 200mm discs, front and rear respectively, combined with a dual-channel ABS system by Bosch. The equipment is anchored to rims and tyres with measurements 110/70-14 and 130/70-13. Other notable dimensions include its maximum approved weight of 126 kg, or a wheelbase of just 1,320 mm. The seat is positioned at 770 mm from the ground.
In terms of equipment, the Sky Town 125 ABS comes standard with the original KYMCO KY30 trunk, with the capacity to store another full-face or modular helmet. Other interesting elements to mention are the double USB socket, double glove box, high-contrast LCD screen, etc.
With an official price of 2,999 euros, which includes free registration, the Sky Town 125 ABS will arrive at the brand’s official dealerships on September 2.
