He Ford E-Tourneo Custom is the 100% electric version of the van dedicated to transporting passengers, up to eight seats, an electric minivan that is now available from 67,550 euros (60,850 euros if the manufacturer's discount is applied).
The Ford E-Tourneo Custom is powered by an electric motor 218 hp (160 kW) of power and a battery 64 kWh of capacity with which it approves 325 km of autonomy. It can receive direct current charges of up to 125 kW (going from 10-80% takes about 39 minutes) and up to 11 kW in alternating current (needs 8 hours for a full charge).
The system includes the option of one-pedal driving for greater energy efficiency and a more relaxed driving experience. In addition, with Pro Power Onboard technology, it allows you to charge other devices with the battery charge through a 2.3 kW outlet.
This version joins the Tourneo Custom range to the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and those equipped with an EcoBlue diesel engine (which feature an eight-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent four-wheel drive system). Different options for every need.
The exterior receives a facelift and the different designs are maintained depending on the finish chosen. You can choose the adventurous Active, the striking Sport series or the elegant Titanium X with 19-inch wheels, Matrix LED lighting or leather upholstery. The new architecture of the E-Tourneo Custom allows a total height of less than two meters in many variants, which facilitates access to garages and parking spaces.
Once inside the Ford E-Tourneo Custom now the seats are mounted on rails in the second and third row. This allows greater modularity by being able to move independently and even be removed (easier as they are lighter). The cabin gains quality and achieves a pleasant atmosphere thanks to elements such as the panoramic glass roof, the electrically operated side doors, the three-zone climate control or a new B&O sound system with 14 speakers and a subwoofer.
Technology is not far behind in this model, which introduces the Ford SYNC 4 system with a new 13 inch touch screen and digital instrumentation, offering maximum connectivity. The steering wheel is flattened at the top and bottom for easier access and more free space.
On the other hand, work has been done on the storage spaces to offer the customer more useful spaces. For the first time it comes as standard driving aids such as adaptive cruise control with lane keeping, reverse braking assistance, active parking and a 360-degree camera.
