Kramer Motorcycles has just unveiled its latest addition to its exclusive range of models: The new Krämer GP2-890 XX 2025. A naked frame in the purest style of the motorcycles that compete in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship (MSHNC). As was the case with the GP2-890R concept, the new GP2-890 XX is a motorcycle created to fully enjoy every corner of every circuit.
Jensen BeelerCEO of Krämer Motorcycles USA, explains that: “When we looked at the paddocks we went to, we noticed that a little over 10% of the motorcycles on the track were large displacement naked models, which is an interesting trend developing in the industry.”
Krämer GP2-890 XX 2025: Naked exclusivity
There is no doubt that Krämer has got the idea right about making truly effective track bikes without losing that ability to be fun, regardless of the rider’s experience. The GP2-890 XX could not be less and its weight/power ratio of almost 1 HP per kilo makes things even easier. To this we must add the ease of piloting offered by the wide handlebars.
On the other hand, there is its “Double-X” aesthetic seasoned with an endless number of parts made of carbon fiber, which combine superbly with the striking green that gives color to its tubular chassis. Bodywork, air intakes, license plates and BST Star Tek wheels are made of the lightweight material.
Beeler explains about this GP2-890 XX 2025: “So far, no manufacturer has produced a hypernaked focused solely on the racetrack, even though the demographics lean more toward this category with each passing year. The Krämer GP2-890 XX aims to offer these track riders one more motorcycle designed specifically for this segment of track riding, in the same way that our other motorcycles have done in their model segments.”
Of course, there is no shortage of cutting-edge technological elements, whether at the level of the chassis, with WP suspensions and Brembo braking or in the section that concerns electronics, signed by Mectronik. Markus KramerCEO of Krämer Motorcycles GmbH, comments on his new creation: “The Krämer GP2-890 XX marks a radical change for the Krämer Motorcycles brand, as it is our first hypernaked model without fairings and is a motorcycle that is geared more towards track day riders than weekend racers. ”
In terms of performance, Krämer Motorcycles declares for its new GP2-890 XX a maximum power of 138 HP at 10,100 rpm with up to 100 Nm of torque available at 8,200 revolutions. With an empty weight of just 140 kilogramsit is clear that fun is guaranteed. Of course, after payment of the 50,000 euros which costs, that is, almost triple what a standard KTM 990 costs.
In exchange for this dizzying figure you buy a little piece of exclusivity, as well as a very serious toy with which to have a really good time on the track. Krämer offers the possibility, for the first time, of being able to customize our unit to taste. The lucky ones will be able to choose the color of the chassis and the design of the graphics that decorate the fairing. Markus Krämer argues about this:
“The GP2-890 XX is also the first Krämer Motorcycles model to be part of our new factory customization program, and we plan to expand this program to our other models in the future.” The brand stipulates that the first units will reach authorized distributors starting next spring.
