Recently, we have seen some images where the Indian automotive giant Hero MotoCorp carried out the first tests of its future Xpulse 210. An adventure frame that arrives with a fresh look and will probably be in charge of replacing the current Xpulse 200 4V, which was the result of a major renovation last season 2023.
However, the world of two wheels is advancing by leaps and bounds and no one can take a break if they want to stay in the spotlight. Regardless of the engine size or segment we are talking about, we are constantly witnessing a constant evolution in search of better performance and level of finishes and equipment.
Xpulse 210: Improving on the present
This is the case of the supposedly future Xpulse 210. A mount that goes up a step, in all aspects, compared to the model currently sold by Hero. To do so, the brand uses the engine launched just a few months ago in its new sports model, the Karizma XMR.
In this way, the engine would go from using an air-cooled engine to one that uses a water-cooled system, going from the 19.1 hp and 17.35 Nm declared by the Xpulse 200 to 25.5 HP and 20.4 Nm of the Karizma XMR, as pointed out by Autocar India. The brand is probably working on adjusting the range of use for the new purpose of the Xpulse 210, a use on and off the road.
To accommodate this new engine, not many changes are expected in its chassis, maintaining a conventional fork on the front axle and two disc brakes, one per wheel. Visually, the test mule does appear to have a larger fuel tank, and it could be feasible to increase the capacity from the current 13 liters offered by the Xpulse 200.
We can also see that it is equipped with a set of side cases, which suggests that the brand will offer some optional equipment packages, especially to improve its road capabilities. In addition, there is the possibility of having different versions of the model itself, as is already the case.
Sources close to Hero MotoCorp believe that the new Xpulse 210 could be launched before the end of the year, taking over from the current model. Priced around Rs 150,000, about 1,650 euros at the exchange ratewould not increase the current price of the Xpulse 200 too much.
