Behind all the noise that is about Pecco Bagnaia and his situation, there is still a person with his ambitions. And one of the ambitions of the three times world champion, is to compete in the 8 hours of Suzuka.
It is nothing new that Bagnaia shows your interest in the mythical and dangerous resistance career that, in recent years, usually has MotoGP representatives. He has recovered part of his fame, but is celebrated on a track that does not adapt to the security standards of the queen category and in which we have seen serious accidents. The last one, that of Luca Marini.
But that does not seem to stop the intentions of a Bagnaia that already in 2022, winning the championship, threw the bait to Ducati to make a duo at that time with Bautista. Now he returns to the load and has been portrayed in the last video of “Inside Ducati”, where again he insisted again a Dall’Eigna who, at the time, did not close the door to the idea of challenging Japanese manufacturers in their own home.
Laughing, but Bagnia makes it very clear
On this occasion, Bagnaia, in a scene that seen from the outside has to his touch of humor, Pecco awaits the arrival of Dall’igna in the hospitality when he only says: “I, Bubi (Bulega) and Petrux (Petrucci).” The Gigi does not need anything else to answer “Suzuka.”
The funny thing is that while everyone takes it in a humorous tone, Bagnaia’s face does not change. It is clear that he is interested in competing in Suzuka and does not mind continuing to pressure. Another thing is that Ducati ends up giving the approval to running, something that could still happen this year because the inscriptions are open.
Neither MotoGP nor the WSBK compete that weekend, so the pilots would be available. Of course, taking into account logistics and that one of the important things if you want to go with options is to be able to train on the Japanese track, it seems that at least this year it is not an option to see Bagnaia with Bulega and Petrucci in Suzuka.
