One more year KTM brings us its new version of one of its flagship models, the 890 Adventure Rwhich for the 2025 season presents us with a livery inspired by the one fitted to the KTM 450 Rally, winner of the Dakar. It features a low windshield, a high front fender, rally-style bodywork and greater protection of body components.
Rider comfort has not been left out, with an Offroad-focused one-piece seat that prioritizes ease of movement and grip, and a revitalized set of graphics for 2025 completing the look. New for 2025, the Connectivity Unit is included as standard to enable connection between the KTMConnect app and the TFT display via Bluetooth for Turn-by-Turn+ navigation, music and incoming calls.
Mechanically, we still have the 889 cc parallel twin engine that offers us 100 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and 105 HP of power. Regarding the cycle part, the WP suspension pack of the 2025 version incorporates time-tested components in both trains, with a 48 mm WP XPLOR fork and a WP XPLOR PDS rear shock absorber as the protagonists.
The 890 Adventure R uses 21″ front and 18″ rear radial wheels shod with Tubuless Mitas Enduro Trail tires. Braking is provided by two 320 mm front discs, gripped by 4-piston radial calipers, and a single 260 mm diameter rear disc actuated by a double-piston floating caliper. The Austrian brand announces a curb weight of 196kgto which we must add the 20 liters of gasoline that we can store in its tank.
