The well-known Spanish brand specialized in the marketing of electric vehicles, recently made official the launch of its new Nerva Spark. Developed on the same technical platform, but offering two approvals (L1e as a moped and L3e equivalent to 125 cc), this new urban scooter hits the market “to offer an accessible, technologically advanced and emission-free solution from just €2,095”they say from the company.

Nerva Spark 2026: electric mobility within everyone’s reach
“The transition to zero emissions does not have to be complex or elitist”comment from the brand. Under this premise, the Nerva Spark was born, a scooter that takes advantage of the same design and cycle base to respond to two clearly differentiated user profiles. On the one hand, the Spark L1e version, accessible from the AM card, is focused on those looking for maximum simplicity on short journeys.
This variant offers a power of 1.8 kW (3.6 kW peak), speed limited to 45 km/h and up to 80 km range. On the other hand, the Spark L3e is presented as the equivalent of a 125 cc scooter. Suitable for users of the B license with three years of experience or A1, delivers 5 kW nominal (7.6 kW peak) and reaches 95 km/hbecomes an interesting ideal option to undertake interurban expressways with solvency.
Equipped with removable BYD Blade LFP battery
The true technological heart of the Spark lies in its storage system. Nerva once again trusts the global leader BYD by incorporating its acclaimed Blade LFP (lithium ferrophosphate) technology. The LFP Blade battery is characterized above all by its high thermal stability, durability and absence of nickel and cobalt. The Spark L3e is equipped with a 3,496 kWh battery (76.8 V and 46 Ah), while the L1e uses a 2.06 kWh unit (44.8 V and 46 Ah).
Both are removable and can be charged with an external charger in a domestic Schuko socket. The vehicle can also be connected directly using the included Type 2 cable, compatible with public charging infrastructure. The L3e reaches approximately 80% charge in 2h 50min and 100% charge in 3h 30min. In L1e, the approximate times are 1 h 35 min and 2 h, respectively.
The pack design incorporates a service connection that allows individual access to cell groups to perform diagnostic, testing and balancing tasks with external equipment. This solution facilitates preventive maintenance and helps maintain the performance of the assembly throughout its useful life. As proof of this, Nerva supports the Spark with 5 years warranty for the battery and 3 years for the cycle part.
A technological equipment in line
To offer driving personalized to the demands of the city, the L3e version has three driving modes: ECO (limited to 50 km/h to extend the range up to 100 km), Normal (70 km/h and 75 km of range) and Sport (up to 95 km/h with 60 km of range). Color digital instrumentation keeps the user informed about the vehicle’s status at all times.
Likewise, the Nerva Spark turns the smartphone into a command center thanks to the Nerva City App from Nerva Eco, now available for iOS and Android, and the SIM card included as standard. From the app, the owner can monitor the GPS location in real time, lock the vehicle remotely, customize regenerative braking levels, activate or deactivate Hill Holder and receive vehicle software updates over the air (OTA).
Design and equipment that do not go unnoticed
The new Nerva Spark presents a design with agile lines and Matte Black finishes, highlighting its double LED headlights protected with a steel grill that give it a country and urban look in equal parts. Equipped with a Nerva central motor with belt and reduction transmission, it offers smooth, silent and practically maintenance-free torque delivery.
In the dynamic section, it is equipped with 12-inch wheels and a set of disc brakes on both wheels activated by red calipers, incorporating a CBS combined braking system in the L3e model. Everyday functionality is enhanced with a large integrated rear luggage rack as standard and a flat platform that facilitates comfort on the move.
The brand announces a retail price of €2,095 for the L1e version and €2,595 for the L3e.
