Nissan Townstar Evalia: flexibility for up to seven passengers

When we talk about Nissan Townstar it may sound like a new and relatively unknown model. It is normal, since the Japanese firm made a restructuring in its commercial range and chose to change the names NV200 and NV250 for this new model. Based on the CMF-CD platform of the Alliance, it was intended to be a wild card for the transport of goods or passengers. That last purpose is what the Nissan Townstar Evaliawhich is positioned as a minivan that will be really useful for families.

On the outside it is a compact van, but on the inside it is capable of accommodate up to seven passengers with total comfort thanks to its spaciousness. The term Evalia has always been linked to vehicles that stand out for their modularity and practicality. Accepts two, five or seven seat configurations; while all rears are individual. The second and third rows are easily removable thanks to the possibility of sliding the seats or removing them when they are not needed.

Another of the keys to the Nissan Townstar Evalia is the flexibility of the cabin. It can be adapted, not only to transport passengers, but also also for other things. It could be converted into a commercial van by folding down all the seats and leaving a surface of up to 3,750 liters capacity. In addition, another 49 liters of storage would have to be added between the spaces in the front. Large objects such as surfboards or skis could also be carried due to the individual folding of the seats.

All this without giving up the latest technology, with an 8-inch screen and multimedia system similar to that of conventional passenger cars. Not to mention that safety comes thanks to a package of systems that includes blind spot detection and intervention with intelligent emergency braking, 360º vision perimeter camera, lane keeping assistant and other systems. This Nissan Townstar Evalia is available with the 1.3G gasoline engine with 130 HP and also in the electric version of 120 HP
