QJMotor starts 2025 showing some of its most important new features for this year. Among them is a renewed SRK 800RR which, it seems, in just a few months, has already been evolved by the Asian brand. That is at least what we deduce after seeing the latest image of the model after its recent approval in China.
Something, on the other hand, unusual, considering that the SRK 800RR was recently presented at EICMA 2024. Since then it seems that it has been subject to some truly relevant changes, as we can confirm with a first look at the components. main components that make up its cycle part (chassis and swingarm).
QJMotor SRK 800RR 2025: Derived directly from the SSP motorcycle
Thanks to our colleagues at Cycle World we have been aware of the changes that the QJMotor sports car has undergone throughout this short period of time. Let us remember that the motorcycle was presented at the well-known Milan Motorcycle Show. A little earlier, back in June, the model was officially revealed and then there was talk that it would use an inline four-cylinder engine and 778ccoffering a maximum final power of around 100 HP.
Now, in January 2025 and after having competed in the 2024 World Supersport, following the evolution program of the motorcycle, it seems that many of these changes will also reach the street model. While it is true that the 2024 version continues to appear on the brand’s official website in some parts of the world, the new 2025 variant is shown on the QJMotor global page, announcing technical and performance specifications of a much higher level than the SRK 800RR seen so far.
The biggest changes affect the cycle part, where a chassis and swingarm made of aluminum and with a design very similar to that used by the motorcycle with which it competes are now shown. Raffaele De Rosa in the SSP. This translates into a noticeable weight drop, going from the 209 kg of the 2024 version to the 202 kg of the 2025 SRK 800RR. The wheelbase is also reduced by 40 mm, now announcing a final level of 1,440mm.
On the other hand, one of the most striking aspects of the new features that QJMotor presents in its sports car for this year is the increase in power declared by the Chinese firm. Although the SRK 800RR began its commercial life offering 100 HP at 10,000 rpm, by 2025 everything indicates that this figure will be raised to 120 hp at 12,000 rpmeven showing a maximum value of 123 HP in some approval documents.
Similarly, the top speed would go from the initial 220 km/h to the 260km/h in this SRK 800RR 2025, a truly significant increase that would take the QJMotor sports car directly to another performance level. In any case, the brand has not yet officially commented on all these changes and improvements to its sports model, although it is very likely that we will soon know official details on the subject.
