QJMotor prepares the arrival of its new SRK 921 to the brand’s official dealers in Europe

Last August we knew the first details of the imminent QJMotor SRK 921. A frame included within the maxinaked category that closely follows the philosophy already shown by the rest of its range sisters: A very complete and equipped product, at a lower price than most of its rivals. Undoubtedly, we are referring to those that have their origin in both Europe and Japan; Yamaha MT-09 or the Kawasaki Z900 would be among them.

This is the feeling we have when we take a look at the general specifications that the model offers us and later we corroborate its official price. Regarding the latter, in European countries such as the United Kingdom it is already announced on their respective website for a base price of 8,699 pounds, which in euros translates to an amount around 9,990 euros. That is, almost 130 HP of power for just under 10K.

Very important: here we are not talking exclusively about performance data, since the SRK 921 includes as standard, among other equipment elements, Ride-by-Wire, Quickshifter, cruise control, TCS, launch control, 6-axis IMU cornering ABS, heated seat and grips and a 1080p Dash Cam… But there is still more. The Chinese brand has not spared a single bit when it comes to creating the cycle part of its new model.

Starting with the reinforced steel chassis, with a cast aluminum subframe and a beautiful single-sided swingarm that reminds us de facto of the silhouette that MV Agusta’s Brutale range sports. When braking we find the Brembo ‘Stylema’ monobloc radial calipers responsible for biting into two 320 mm brake discs, while on the rear axle there is a third disc, in this case 260 mm, and a single-piston floating caliper.

The equipment is mounted on a pair of 17″ alloy wheels shod with tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 190/50 at the rear. For the suspensions, the QJMotor development team has chosen Marzocchi as its supplier. Here we have an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, in both cases fully adjustable.

The system is completed by a steering damper, also signed by the Italian firm. It is perhaps precisely this last aspect, that conjunction “transalchina” so well executed, which stands out most in the SRK 921. As the brand itself states, “The SRK 921 has been designed by San Marino-based C-Creative, meaning this motorcycle is more than just about being ridden; it is a testament to superior craftsmanship and attention to detail.”

To achieve this goal, in addition, the new model of the Asian brand includes a design where well-resolved elements give character and personality to the imprint of the motorcycle. For example, its headlights equipped with daytime running lights, with two defined arcs, frame the double headlights and give it a dynamic look.

The “U” shaped rear light, with a marked three-dimensional effect and a uniform diffusion of red, creates one of the most recognizable rear parts on the market. There are also details worth mentioning, such as the hidden and foldable passenger footrests, which are integrated into the lower part of the rear lights and disappear when not in use.

Finally, other main aspects of this SRK 921 are its dimensions “designed for greater agility and control”as the brand itself defines them: 2,130 mm long, 930 mm wide and 1,130 mm high. The seat is at a height of 835 mm, while the wheelbase reaches 1435 mm. It also has a fuel tank with up to 15.5 L capacity, a figure that we must add to the 219 kilos empty which declares QJMotor.

In short, we are faced with a set that combines the best of two worlds, also offering a contained price (at least at the time of the model’s launch) and that is very likely to begin to have a presence in the brand’s official dealerships in just a few weeks.
