This rental system offers a key advantage over the competition, as it allows you to exchange an empty battery for a full one in less time than it would take to refuel a gasoline motorcycle.
For the first three years, these exchanges are free for a range of up to 500 km per month, and after that, each exchange costs €5. Another benefit is that, by not buying the battery, the price of the scooter is reduced to 3.700 €. Plus, with the Moves III plan, that price can drop to between €1,100 and €1,300, making it a highly attractive option. On the other hand, obviously, if you prefer to charge the battery at home, you can do so with the standard built-in cable, or carry the battery up the elevator using its trolley. This level of flexibility is something that many of its rivals don’t offer.
The battery swapping system, activated via an app, is one of the main attractions of the model. By simply selecting the nearest charging station and reserving a battery, the swapping process is completed in less than a minute, much faster than filling the tank of a combustion motorcycle.
