Sylvain Guintoli’s equipment up for auction to fight childhood cancer

Sylvain Guintoli has appeared on SoyMotero.net on many occasions and it is no wonder. MotoGP rider, Superbike World Champion, Endurance World Champion and an extremely close character who rides to Donington on his motorcycle, does a few laps and returns home like any other fan, leaving aside the ego that we see in other great figures of motorcycling.

But this time we are not going to talk about the successes of the pilot Sylvain, nor about any trick or advice that he wanted to share with us, but about a solidarity gesture to help the charity organization Young Lives Vs Cancer. To raise funds for this organization, the French driver has donated all the equipment he has used in the 2024 season of the World Endurance Championship, where he has been part of the BMW team, with Florian Marino and the also illustrious Randy De Puniet as his partner.

All equipment has been used during the season

Everything Guintoli has donated is being auctioned through the organization’s Ebay page, and anyone can bid on the items through this link. We find everything from a short-sleeved t-shirt to the crown jewels such as the helmet and overalls, but also Sylvain’s gloves, boots, sweatshirt and jacket.

The auction for Guintoli’s equipment ends on Sunday the 15th at night

Depending on the budget, you can bid on one or another element, but it will not be easy or economical to get it because the helmet, for example, at the time of writing the news had already received 36 bids and was at 2,200 pounds, which at the current exchange rate is more than 2,600 euros.

Meanwhile, the cheapest for now is the t-shirt, which we could consider for all audiences, but which in reality is already bordering on the 100 euro barrier. Even so, we must not lose sight of the fact that all proceeds will go to the organization that works to help young people fight the disease.

The helmet is the jewel in the crown and, for now, the object that is achieving the most value

If you are interested in bidding on any of Sylvain Guintoli’s items, you should know that you only have until Sunday, December 15 at 9:45 p.m. local time, that is, 10:45 p.m. CET time.

Happy drivers
