SYM reinforces its commitment to its crossover range by offering attractive promotions on its models ADX 125 and ADX 300. The family is completed with the new ADXTG 400a model that provides greater comfort and superior performance, elevating the crossover experience to a more advanced level.
Any of the three models that make up this range combine modern design, robustness and complete equipment aimed at comfort, safety and performance, with that versatility that a “crossover” gives us to occasionally go beyond the asphalt.
SYM ADX 125
The SYM ADX 125 (which we already had the opportunity to test) is intended for those who want an agile and practical scooter for their daily trips, with a modern and functional design that stands out for its high degree of versatility. It comes equipped with a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine with a maximum power of 12.3 hp (9.06 kW) at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
It also has a Start & Stop system with ZRSGS system (Zero-Resistance Starter & Generator system), which after three seconds at idle automatically turns off the engine to start it again without any delay when stroking the gas.
In the cycle part we find technological boasts such as the Anti-Lift System (ALEH), capable of improving stability and dynamism in acceleration phases. The dual-channel ABS signed by Continental is supported by a 260 mm wave-type front brake and a 230 mm rear brake, in both cases clamped by two-piston calipers.
At the suspension level, the ADX 125 uses a rear monoshock similar to the one mounted on adventure-type motorcycles that works in a horizontal position. Other key aspects related to the finishes and equipment of the models are:
- Traction Control (TCS)
- 5” TFT Dashboard
- Keyless 2.0
- Full LED lighting.
- USB QC 3.0 charging socket
- Hole under the seat with full face helmet
- 15 L fuel tank
- Center stand and kickstand
Now, the ADX 125 is on sale until the end of November with a savings of 700 euros. Its official price is now set at 3,299 euros. This rate also includes both free insurance for the first year and the 5-year official warranty offered by the brand.
SYM ADX 300
The ADX 300 (which we have tested) is distinguished by its sporty design, inspired by the adventurous DNA that characterizes the ADX family. We see this reflected in, in addition to its aesthetics, in details that make it a true crossover, such as its reinforced chassis in the central part that makes it especially resistant.
In addition, it offers a perfect balance between power, comfort and functionality, ideal for those who need a scooter prepared for longer routes or combinations of city and highway. Its 278 cc single-cylinder engine, which includes Start&Stop System, has four valves and declares a maximum power of 19 kW (26 HP) and a torque of 26 Nm.
In the cycle section we can highlight a telescopic fork with a travel of 125 mm in the front wheel and a double shock absorber with adjustable preload in the rear. Also disc brakes on both axles, and 4-piston caliper on the front wheel with radial mounting.
For its part, the mixed tires fitted have dimensions of 120/70 R15 at the front and 140/70 R14 at the rear. If we talk about equipment and technology, the ADX 300 includes among its standard equipment:
- ABS system signed by Bosch
- Disengageable traction control (TCS)
- 7-inch color TFT Dashboard that, in addition to displaying the most relevant information, allows you to choose between three different customization styles.
- smart key
- Full LED lighting with V-shaped position light, favoring its sporty touch
- USB & USB-C charging socket
- Smoked windshield
- Hand protectors
- Seat with capacity for a full-face helmet and other objects
The current SYM campaign allows us to save 200 euros on the final purchase pricenow of 4,399 euros. This rate includes free registration and free insurance for the first year, as well as a 5-year official warranty.
SYM ADXTG 400
The ADXTG 400 not only takes the commitment to the design of the ADX range to a new level, but also represents a notable mechanical and technological evolution, designed for those seeking a more intense, complete and comfortable experience both in the city and outside it. With this model, SYM reinforces its position in the medium-high displacement segment, betting on a proposal with an adventurous soul and technological heart.
Its 399 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power of 25.5 kW (35 HP) at 7,000 rpm and 37.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. One of the most notable aspects of this engine is the incorporation of the Hyper-VVS system (Variable Valve System), an electronic variable valve timing system that acts on the intake cam to adjust the opening moment based on the engine speed and other parameters, such as temperature or throttle opening.
It also has a double balance shaft, thus eliminating most of the vibrations and significantly improving driving comfort. The centrifugal clutch offers more immediate acceleration, greater durability against wear and better cooling, especially useful on long routes or intensive driving.
Another relevant aspect that stands out in this model is that it incorporates a chain transmission, an unusual choice in scooters, but common in motorcycles. This configuration not only improves power delivery efficiency, but also offers greater robustness and ease of maintenance in demanding conditions, such as unpaved roads or adventure routes.
As for its cycle part, we find a suspension system, equipped with an inverted front fork with a double seatpost, with 41 mm diameter bars and a travel of 140 mm. For the rear axle, the brand uses a monoshock with a preload-adjustable link system “Sanyang Multilink” anchored to both the swingarm and the chassis, just like on motorcycles.
In the braking section, this ADXTG 400 uses a disconnectable BOSCH dual-channel ABS system with a 275 mm petal front disc with a 4-piston radial caliper and a 233 mm disc at the rear. Likewise, the disconnectable traction control (TCS). The set is installed on two alloy wheels, shod with mixed tubeless tires measuring 120/70-15 at the front and 150/70-14 at the rear.
Another relevant aspect of the ADXTG 400 is its level of equipment and technology where the Asian firm offers us, for example, a 4.3-inch color LCD instrument panel, Smart Key, integrated USB type A charging ports to facilitate the charging of mobile devices or navigation systems while driving.
It also has a two-position adjustable handlebar, which allows you to adjust the driving ergonomics depending on the user’s style or the conditions of the journey. Other elements to highlight would be:
- Handguards as standard, which not only protect against wind or rain, but also reinforce the adventurous character of the model.
- Space under the seat that offers a storage capacity of 32 liters, which can house a full-face helmet and integrated courtesy light, which adds practicality both in urban use and in medium-distance trips.
- Windshield adjustable in two positions without the need for tools, adapting to the type of driving (more aerodynamic or protected).
- Reinforced crankcase cover, made of plastic with fiber reinforcements, which effectively protects the underside of the engine against possible impacts.
- Double height seat for pilot and passenger, promoting comfort on all types of journeys.
The new ADXTG 400 starts from the 6,999 eurosofficial price that also includes free insurance for the first year and a 5-year warranty. In addition to its crossover family, SYM has a range that covers all major segments of the scooter market; high wheel, compact, classic, GT and sports.
With this renewed range, the brand reaffirms its commitment to practical, safe mobility with an adventurous spirit. More information and details on its official website.
