The Aston Martin skyscraper in Miami is worthy of being the lair of a Bond villain

It seems luxury skyscrapers are the new battleground of automotive design right now. We've seen a few lately, including the Aston Martin Residences Miamione of the most anticipated projects, first revealed in 2016 and scheduled for completion in 2021.

This extraordinary sail-shaped skyscraper, the automaker's first completed real estate project, has now been completed. Located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, near the mouth of the Miami River, it reaches a height of 249 metersmaking it the tallest residential building in the United States… south of New York.

The project is the result of a collaboration between Aston Martin's design team and architect Rodolfo Miani and G&G Business Development. Its unusual shape wouldn't look too out of place as a villain's lair in a James Bond film. Its sail shape nods to its surroundings, with marinas, with a striking curvilinear shape divided by a large terrace with an infinity pool on top.

Inside, Aston Martin's design language is subtly expressed, such as in the keyless doors covered in tan leather, with bespoke door handles and carbon fiber reception counter areas. There are 66 apartments and 391 luxury residential units (of which there are no press images). They include one to five bedroom apartments, multiple penthouses and the ultra exclusive Unique Triplex Penthouse, distributed over three floors and measuring 2,526 square meters. Residents are offered a choice of colors and luxurious furnishings for the interior. Amenities include a private butler service, spa, art gallery and more.

“Spanning four full levels between the 52nd and 55th floors of the building, all interconnected by a monumental and eye-catching glass staircase, featured amenities consist of a two-story fitness center overlooking the stunning Atlantic Ocean, an art gallery, two cinema, a virtual golf simulator, a business center and conference room, a children's playroom, as well as a full-service spa, beauty salon and barbershop,” the Aston Martin press release states.

If you want to live in Aston Martin Residences Miami, you have to be quick since 99% of the apartments have been sold. As for prices, standard residences start at $600,000 and go up to $8.5 million, while for the suite penthouse They were asking for about 50 million dollars.
