the day we will meet the new Husqvarna Vitpilen 801

Just over a month ago we became certain that the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 was simmering in the brand’s headquarters. Leaked documents revealed the registrations of different models by the Pierer Mobility group, and one of them belonged to the brand.

So, with the certainty that the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 was going to arrive sooner rather than later, and that we would surely have it among us in 2025, it remained to be seen when we would be able to see it for the first time. Now we know that that occasion will arrive in just over 10 days. On October 2, we will have the opportunity to see the model in full, of which we have only been able to appreciate its headlight on social media.

The details we already know about the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801

Along with the confirmation that the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 had been registered with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the United States, we were also able to learn some details about it. Details that will allow the naked bike to be positioned as the brand’s sportiest option.

To achieve this, in addition to its very particular aesthetics, it will have the in-house LC8c engine that would offer around 105 hp with a torque of 87 Nm in its “full” version and which is expected to be reduced to 95 in a version that could be limited for the A2.

The new tubular chassis already used on the Svartpilen 801 and the WP APEX suspensions are also expected to be maintained at the chassis level, complemented by a J.Juan braking system. One of the logical differences between the two will come from the tyres, which on the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 will be sport-style.

Now we just have to wait a few days to discover the rest of the details and a little more time to be able to see it physically and enjoy it. Let the countdown begin!
