The exclusive commemorative edition you want, but can never have

The phrase “everything has a price in this world” is not applicable, a priori, to the very special special and ultra-limited edition of the Honda CBR1000RR-R Kumamoto. So much so that only one copy of it exists, and its purpose is none other than to celebrate the 20 million motorcycles manufactured in the Japanese plant that bears that name.

The Kumamoto factory is Honda’s fourth factory, and was founded in 1976. It is the brand’s largest national complex, and several models of motorcycles and general-purpose engines are assembled there. It is capable of carrying out all stages, from the manufacturing and processing of engines and components, to the assembly of vehicles.

Honda CBR1000RR-R Kumamoto: One of a kind

This CBR1000RR-R Kumamoto is the perfect ending to an ideal industrial career. After almost 50 years of activity, the Kumamoto factory wanted to celebrate the 20 million motorcycles manufactured with this very special CBR1000RR-R on demand. In fact, the motorcycle is displayed in the lobby of the facilities, so that it can be admired by workers and visitors who pass by.

The color scheme is designed in honor of Kumamon, a cultural symbol of the area where the factory is located. Also to the Honmaru Castle Palace, famous for its gold leaf ornamentation.

Without a doubt, we are talking about a tribute to local culture, in addition to the business milestone to which this exclusive frame has been dedicated. The colors silver, black, maroon or gold pair perfectly, giving the decoration a unique and unrepeatable touch.

In addition, it presents some very special details, as detailed by the Argentine colleagues of La Moto. This CBR1000RR-R Kumamoto has “the handwritten signature and message of Honda president Toshihiro Mibe, and the autograph of Norick Abe, who led the brand’s division at the time of its creation.”

This tribute has been developed on a CBR1000RR-R in its standard version, equipped with the well-known in-line four-cylinder engine capable of offering up to 217 HP of power at 14,000 rpm and 113 Nm of maximum torque at 12,000 revolutions.

A mechanics that is accompanied by a top-level chassis, where elements such as its double 330 mm front disc or the 43 mm Showa BPF inverted fork stand out.

In short, a mechanical, aesthetic and cultural compendium more special than ever with this exclusive edition in tribute to the work carried out by the brand in its Kumamoto factory.
