The Koala, his puch and a lot of rustic rock

It is not the first time we talk about artists and motorcycles. Nor is it the first time we talk about music and motorcycles, but it is the first time we talk about Manuel Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez. Thus, with that name, this Malaga born in the Rincón de la Victoria does not sound much, but if we tell you that his artistic name is the Koala then the thing changes.

The Koala jumped to fame for his “Opá, I traveled a Corrá”, almost 20 years ago, but his musical career is much more than that “ball.” And since he was young he was integrating different groups, although the first one that unites us directly with him is “the Ducati.” And yes, it turns out that Koala is not only the greatest and best representative of rustic rock, he is also passionate about motorcycles. In fact, his nickname prior to Koala was Jesús Ducati.

Currently the concerts continue to open them with this song

The Koala, Passion for the Moto from before “Opá”

In his stage already alone and already in his first success, which was inside the “Rustic Rustic Rock of Width” Rock put some phrases related to motorcycles. Trying to convince his father to be able to do the corral, he offered to “start the Guzzi”, spoke of “throwing things and even the motorcycle” to keep it and in the video clip itself it was uploaded in a cyclomotor.

So we can say that since its inception as the Koala continued to show his fondness for motorcycles, which was clearly embodied in his third album “The Cattle of the Field”. In it we find one of the most passionate songs about buying a motorcycle with “I saw myself to buy a puch.”

Now that he is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his solo career, this theme is the one that opens the concerts, he has a video clip and although the song has his time, it is a masterpiece. Because he is able to capture in a simple and close way, that dream of adolescence of having a cyclomotor that we all had, and the plans we had once we got it.

In the video clip you can not miss several puch in progress, a lot of humor, good vibes, rhythm and a lot of rustic rock. Sign of unmistakable identity of El Koala that, in the times that run from “plastic and pose”, bring us a little more to reality without sweetening and with good music.

And, although he has songs such as those mentioned before and many other equally animated, he has also created others with deeper and more claiming lyrics of life in the countryside as “a goat having breakfast in the city,” Grande El Koala.
