The KTM 690 Rally 2027 comes from the factory with what had to be prepared before: tanks, tower and more autonomy

Developed from KTM’s Rally Raid heritage, the KTM 690 Rally 2027 offers a factory-built platform for riders who want to go further, ride longer and experience riding in its purest form. For years, the KTM 690 Enduro R has been the ideal platform for rally kits, attracting riders looking for greater autonomy, wind protection and ergonomics suitable for this performance. The new 2027 KTM 690 Rally translates this concept into a fully integrated, factory-developed package inspired by the brand’s rally heritage designed to offer a turnkey solution with no modification required.

Compared to the enduro version the 690 Rally includes a completely new rally tower with a headlight derived from the KTM 450 Rally. In addition, it incorporates two additional front fuel tanks, which provide 7 more liters and increase the total capacity to 20 liters.

It also has a specific fuel management system that allows the rider to switch between the front and rear tanks using the switch on the handlebar. The reserve indicator corresponds only to the selected deposit. Likewise, the KTM 690 Rally includes integrated mounting points designed specifically to support the rally kit, including the front tanks and tower assembly, guaranteeing its integration and durability.

The cycle part of the model

The 2027 KTM 690 Rally benefits directly from the latest chassis and suspension updates introduced to the current generation of the KTM 690 Enduro R, including an optimized frame with revised stiffness characteristics for better response and rider control.

The chassis features a 48 mm WP XPLOR inverted fork with a split fork design, with independent damping functions: compression damping on the left side and rebound damping on the right, without influencing each other. As with all WP XPLOR forks, click settings can be adjusted quickly and easily using dials on the top of the fork tubes, with 30 clicks per dial.

The red dial on the right adjusts rebound damping, while the white dial on the left adjusts compression damping. At the rear, a high-performance WP XPLOR shock offers full adjustment of rebound, high- and low-speed compression damping, and preload. Combined with an off-road optimized link system, it provides 250mm of rear wheel travel for maximum control on varied terrain.

An electronic system to match

The KTM 690 Rally shares the electronics of the enduro model on which it is based. It has a modern 4.2” TFT screen4-way switch hubs, advanced rider aids and a full suite of driving modes and assistance systems. Riding modes include Street Off-Road and Rally options, along with specific ABS and traction control settings.

It is also equipped with MTC and ABS in corners, which uses information from the 6D sensor to adapt to different driving situations. The MTC and ABS can also be completely disabled with a dedicated button located for better accessibility in off-road driving situations.

Dynamic slide adjustment is an exclusive feature in Rally mode. Automatically increases allowable wheel slip when additional traction is needed, reducing MTC intervention. When conditions normalize, the system returns slip levels to the pilot’s original settings.

Optionally, cruise control can be installed.
