The alliance between the Macbor Montana XR5 and the young enduro rider Marc Truyols has just borne one of its most important fruits: A spectacular first place in the 14th edition of the prestigious Enduroc 2024a reference in this discipline, held last weekend at the Les Comes estate in Barcelona.
Specifically, it did so in the new Super Trail category, where the Montana distributed over 5 laps of the route.
Thus, the brand new winner of the test added one more success to his short but meteoric career in this contest (with the Montana to the Enduroc after also becoming champion of Spain and Catalonia in the Trophy category in 2023.
Marc Truyols commented: “It was my first experience on a trail motorcycle and I was very surprised by the performance of the Montana XR5, both in the fastest areas and in the most technical and slow areas. “I really enjoyed it, since the organizers had prepared a quite demanding circuit for the characteristics of a maxitrail, and I was able to apply the Enduro technique at all times on a motorcycle in this segment.”

The test had the privilege of having truly high-level participants. On the podium, we had the opportunity to see in second place Jordi QuerKTM Rally driver in Spain, who has also participated in tests as demanding as the Basella Race. Agustín Pascal, a prominent Mexican rider also in the world of Enduro, obtained a fantastic third place.
Currently, he competes in the Spanish Hard Enduro Championship and the SuperEnduro World Championship, where he has shown a high level in the Junior category. Finally, mention that the Enduroc had the opportunity to count on Antoine Meo, winner of five Enduro World Championships, who was unable to finish the test due to mechanical problems.
Thus, Marc Truyols’ victory with the Montana year his third consecutive podium in the Basella Race, achieving an outstanding second place in the Maxitrail category.
This event is a great festival in the Spanish off-road scene, in which the Montana XR5 stood out for its exceptional performance, competing with models with 1,000 cc engines. Motos Bordoy has also had a leading role off the track, as it has brought to this 2024 edition of the Enduroc a spectacular tent where the thousands of attendees at this Enduro party have been able to see first-hand different models of the brand, before and after of each race, in an unforgettable weekend.
The Enduroc is an Enduro event where both professional and amateur riders of all ages can participate, divided into 4 modalities and 20 categories. The Super Trail category aims to offer a test in which Trail type motorcycles can enjoy the Enduroc with a route adapted to their needs. This category seeks to encourage equal participation of all types of trail motorcycles, without distinction of displacement, weight, power or motorcycle model.
New Montana XR5 510 in detail
This 2024 the Macbor Montana XR5 510 has been renewed to continue being a main player in the Trail, with better performance and more equipped. Better engine performance, going from 471 cc to 498 cc, giving a maximum power of 47 HP at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque 45 Nm at 7,000 rpm: A fun engine that offers even better performance and a reliable and fluid response, also featuring Bosch electronic injection (EFI) and two driving modes: ECO and SPORT.
