The new Ducati Panigale V4 will arrive in 2025. It will be wilder and we already know the details

For months now, there has been a growing rumour about the arrival of a new Ducati Panigale V4. There was speculation that an update to the Italian sports bike could be arriving by 2025 and now, thanks to Motorcycle.com, it has been confirmed not only that it is a reality, but that some changes are already known.

And thanks to some certification data from Switzerland, it has been possible to compile some important variations on the new Ducati Panigale V4 and V4S, which will also receive changes for 2025.

Until now, the current Panigale registrations carried the 3D code, which was added to their name with the 2022 update. The previous version used 1D and DA and the new registered versions are 5D, thus confirming the change.

A change that will also come to the engine because in its codes, instead of using the 1100WM that they had until now, the new Ducati Panigale V4 will have a different one, the 1100WR. But there is more and it is that although the technical changes that the engine may have are not specified, it is known that there will be a new exhaust system and a different power and torque.

The new Ducati Panigale V4 will be more powerful

These changes in homologated figures indicate that the new 2025 model will gain power slightly. It will go from 212.6 hp to 213.1, although what is striking is that it will achieve this 500 revolutions per minute higher. While the current model offers its greatest performance at 13,000 rpm, the new Ducati Panigale V4 will go up to 13,500 rpm.

What we find is a lower torque that arrives later than in the previous version. Now, it will have a torque of 120.94 Nm at 11,250 rpm while the current model reaches 123.65 Nm but at 9,500 rpm.

The engine will have more power and less torque

There will also be changes to the wheelbase, which will increase by 3 centimetres, although the reason is not specified. Likewise, the weight of the bike will be reduced by one kilogram compared to the previous model.

In short, the new Ducati Panigale V4 will be different, with small changes in the most important aspects that added together can end up fine-tuning an unbeatable beast.
