The Porsche skyscraper pampers car lovers and their vehicles

It seems that skyscrapers are the new manna of automobile design. After Aston Martin applied its experience to architecture in Miami, it is the turn of Porsche Design, which has revealed its plans for a tower inspired by its cars. It offers high-end luxury for both car lovers and their vehicle collections.

Call Porsche Design Tower Bangkokwill be in the Thai capital and is the brainchild of the German automaker’s design subsidiary. It will rise to 95 meters high, so it will be a fairly large building, but not huge.

The pedestal structure at the base of the tower is inspired by Porsche’s Mission R concept car, while at the top it sports a “crown” with lighting designed to resemble the lights on the brand’s sports cars. In addition, its façade is inspired by the roof mechanism of the Porsche 911 Targa and has an automatic terrace door system that seeks to increase comfort.

The tower will consist of 21 floors with the automobile theme as a guide. The garages (called Passion Spaces) are designed for residents to store and maintain their beloved car collections. These spaces will also serve as places for social gatherings and will be accessed through the Loopa spiral ramp for cars (more convenient than the car elevator at the Miami Porsche Design Tower, of course.

The residences will be 22 Sky Villasdistributed in 21 floors, with prices fromand 15 to 40 million dollars each one. For that amount you get a huge home (1,135 square meters), with luxury furniture, personalized kitchens, as well as a swimming pool, gym and business lounge.

The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok has been made in collaboration with Ananda Development and is expected to begin construction next year and be completed in 2028.
