The seventh edition of the Triumph Coast 2 Coast took more than 100 participants to face a different challenge. With the Mediterranean as their starting point and the Cantabrian Sea as their arrival point and with two days of travel in between, they set off. Of course, in reality the adventure had begun on the 19th when everyone met in Alcanar to receive a welcome pack, the briefing and all the material to be able to plan their route for the next day while enjoying a succulent welcome dinner.
One of the details that the participants received was an Atlantis Moto device that allowed them to be geolocated, maintain the safety of the motorcyclists at all times and ensure correct control of the “Travel Points” that they passed during the tour.
On Friday, rain and the threat of more conditioned the route in some parts. Many of the participants decided to delay their departure between half an hour and forty minutes while heading to the “Travel Points” located further south to try to avoid it. Even so, everyone came to Soria to share the experience and recharge their batteries for Saturday.
Already on Saturday morning, the destination was set: Ribadesella. This time with fewer threats of rain and with 90% of the asphalt traveled completely dry despite the fact that the landscapes of pine forests, mountains and the Picos de Europa were on the way to the finish line.
The seventh edition of the Triumph Coast 2 Coast had two winners
On this occasion the Triumph Coast 2 Coast had a tie for first place on points and both ‘Iberia Kanibal’ and ‘Dodos 6’ visited 24 “Travel Points” in addition to adding 3 special “TP” each. In such a situation, the organization rewarded them by doubling the first prize. So they took home €500 worth of Triumph clothing and accessories. They also got a batch of products from the British manufacturer and Silkolene and a special gift for each of them: a €300 card to spend on gasoline for the ‘Iberia Kanibal’ team and an Andreani cartridge for ‘Dodos 6’.
The second position went to ‘Comando Cazurro 2.0’, which achieved 300 euros in boutique products and a pack of Silkolene items. The third place on this particular podium went to ‘Benimoto’ for 200 euros in boutique products and a pack of Silkolene items.
But this time there were more prizes and there was a ‘Challenge Pirelli’ and a ‘Challenge Metzeler’ in which the two participants who traveled the most kilometers would win a set of tires. Enrique Paz won the Pirelli gift after traveling a total of 1,520 kilometers, while Javier Blanco won the Metzeler reward after completing 1,471 kilometers.
The last winners were Manuel Ventoso, recognizing the help provided to his colleagues and was presented with an Atlantis Moto device with one year of free services. While the award for the funniest photo, the ‘Rinconadas Team’ team won the SoloFoto award.
Now the British brand is already preparing the Triumph Coast 2 Coat 2025, the details of which are not yet known. What we do know is that there are three places already awarded, since their draw at the closing dinner was the finishing touch with which Triumph wanted to reward the participants.
