After the recent launch, a few weeks ago and as we told you at the time, of the new Voge CU 250, Vogethe brand of the Chinese giant Loncin and partner of BMWhas just presented to society and for the moment for its local market, its new medium-sized cruiser: the Voge CU 625You may be familiar with this model, we also talked about it last year.
Of course, and as a good bobber, it comes equipped with a V-engine (V2). And although this type of engine is not new to cruisers, it is new to Voge. Among the key data of this cruiser we find its real 578 cc, a maximum power of 61 HP (45 kW), a top speed of 170 km/h and a total weight of 210 kg.
The tyres are of course in the typical bobber format, with 130/90-16 at the front and 150/80-16 at the rear. Final drive is smooth via a toothed belt. However, no official release dates or prices for China and Europe have been revealed yet.
This is the new Voge CU 625 Bobber in detail
As we are seeing lately, there is a trend to replace V2 engines with inline twin-cylinder engines. Above all due to the complexity of V-Twin engines. In other words, practicality takes precedence. They have a more compact design, simpler manufacturing and, ultimately, lower costs. Yes, even in cruiser models where V engines traditionally predominated, they have adopted inline twin engines, as is the case with the Honda CMX 500 Rebelthe CMX 1100 wave Kawasaki Vulcan S. As is often the case, this approach has also been replicated by Chinese manufacturers. But Voge goes its own way.
The Voge CU 625identified internally as LX600-2and according to the data we have known, it has a water-cooled engine block and, it has neither 625 nor 600 cc, but exactly 578 cc, as we told you before. In addition, although its power there is 61 HPfor our market it could easily be adjusted to 48 HP. All to comply with the A2 driving license regulations. However, with 61 HP, this bobber can reach a maximum speed of 170 km/h.
As for the suspension, it features two rear shock absorbers and an inverted telescopic fork at the front. Its 16-inch aluminium wheels, with a multi-spoke design, are fitted with typical bobber tyres, as we mentioned above. As expected, it includes disc brakes on both wheels and ABS as standard.
More detailed information on the additional features of the Voge CU 625However, the first images show LED lights, rear-view mirrors at the ends of the handlebars, a passenger backrest and a spherical digital screen embedded in the handlebars.
We still don’t know the price or availability, not even in China. But although these variables have not yet been confirmed, it is expected to eventually arrive in Europe. Time will tell.
