Benda has announced a complete renewal of its cruiser range at EICMA 2025, with three new next-generation models. Presented during its press conference at the Fiera Milano exhibition center in Rho, Milan, the motorcycles show the Chinese brand’s own development of engines and the incorporation of cutting-edge rider assistance systems.
Dark Flag 950 Bend
The Dark Flag 950 marks an important milestone as it is the brand’s first motorcycle with almost a liter displacement, powered by a completely new, in-house developed 948 cc V4 engine. This “Technique Cruiser” is designed to offer raw power thanks to its 108 HP (80 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 85 Nm of torque.
The V4 engine, known as the Benda V4 Liter Power Platform, incorporates forged pistons that allow the bike to achieve rapid acceleration. from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Additionally, the Dark Flag 950 boasts a competitive curb weight of 242kg (with liquids).
It features a full Brembo braking system and switchable dual-channel ABS and TCS systems. Long-distance comfort is maintained thanks to the latest generation ride-by-wire throttle, one-touch cruise control and an extremely low 690mm seat height.
Efficiency is further optimized with Idle Shutdown technology, which manages the V4 cylinders during periods of low load to reduce heat and fuel consumption.
Benda Rock 707
The new Rock 707 V-twin, a retro cruiser, fuses classic “American Retro” styling with the industry’s most advanced, rider-focused technology. Equipped with a new generation 691.6 cc V-twin engine, it is optimized to offer maximum ease of use, with a torque of 68 Nm at 6,500 rpm and a power of 73.4 HPtransmitted by a belt final drive. The Rock 707 introduces two revolutionary features for the segment:
- Dual Chamber Electronic Air Suspension: This series production system offers a 30mm adjustment range, allowing the seat height to be adapted from 690mm to 720mm based on rider weight, road conditions, and even instantly raised or lowered when starting and stopping for dominant style.
- Benda Electronic Clutch (BEC) MK-II: An optional, fully redundant electronic clutch mode enables smooth, clutch-leverless gear shifting, making high-performance driving less physically demanding while retaining the full capability of the manual clutch.
The motorcycle’s electronics, based on Benda’s Chip-Electric Matrix technology, supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, ensuring a constant improvement of the riding experience. Includes a Cube convertible rear seat and a high-visibility Star-Diamond headlight.
Benda Rock 250 CVT
For motorcyclists looking for an easy introduction to motorcycling, the Rock 250 CVT sets the standard in accessible driving. This American-style neo-retro cruiser is powered by a 249cc V-twin engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The automatic CVT transmission eliminates the need for clutch and manual gear changes, ensuring perfectly smooth power delivery for urban driving and relaxed driving. The V-twin engine produces 25 Nm of torque and 25.8 HP, maximum power.
Standard safety features include ABS and switchable traction control (TCS). The motorcycle features a bold aesthetic with a sleekly designed 15.5-litre fuel tank, long 1525mm wheelbase, low 720mm seat height and distinctive full LED lighting, available in four new colours, combining classic cruiser power with modern, accessible functionality.
Benda P51 Concept
Benda has also unveiled its P51 prototype. This naked motorcycle with a radical style breaks all the conventions of the small displacement motorcycle segment with a compact 250 cc flat two-cylinder engine, as well as an advanced modular hybrid transmission system, composed of an electric motor under the combustion engine.
First introduced at the Chongqin International Motorcycle Exhibition in September, it is named after the P-51 Mustang high-performance fighter and embodies the brand’s technological ambitions. The liquid-cooled 250cc DOHC boxer twin engine, when combined with its electric motor, adds a power output of approximately 62 HP (46 kW) and 100 Nm of torque. With these features, this lightweight prototype manages to pass from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
This naked prototype is distinguished by its neo-retro aesthetics. Its design consists of a front part where telescopic forks stand out under Girder style covers, similar to those of the Napoleon Bob design. Aviation-inspired headlights add a touch of modern elegance with technological appeal.
It also has discreet passenger footpegs that, added to the double-arm swingarm and the monoshock rear suspension, create a modern and clear design. Its main chassis is made of aluminum, which gives it high rigidity with a low weight, and it has a vintage design with steel tubes in the subframe, so the P51 achieves a curb weight of only 178 kg.
It has a low center of gravity and, with the option of eliminating the gear change, this motorcycle stands out for its maneuverability and ease of use. Its battery in the rear further improves traction, since that position allows for natural weight distribution. It emits an authentic combustion engine sound, but receives the instant torque of the electric motor.
Benda engine range
Finally, Benda has also introduced its new range of engines, shown for the first time at the Chongqin International Motorcycle Exhibition last September in China. The new platforms range from high-performance combustion engines to advanced hybrid propulsion systems.
550 cc inline four-cylinder engine
It is designed to offer great power in future naked and sports models. It features an oversized intake port that increases air intake to generate more power. An electronic throttle system conveys precise control and generates optimal torque throughout the rev range, with the added advantage of reducing emissions and ensuring high reliability.
700 cc boxer engine
With a design that seeks exceptional smoothness and low noise levels, this DOHC boxer engine incorporates an advanced ceramic coating of the cylinders. This coating, with a maximum hardness of 1,500 HV, reduces wear between 60% and 80%, in addition to withstanding temperatures of up to 450 °C.
However, its most important feature is its modular design, which allows it to adapt to a hybrid system, whether for electric, fuel or parallel hybrid mode. And it offers an efficient balance between performance and energy savings.
1,700 cc inline six-cylinder engine
This propulsion system is the flagship unit that the brand hopes will become a new benchmark for luxury touring motorcycles. In addition, it will incorporate a new electromechanical dual clutch transmission (EM-DCT). This engine uses a supporting crankcase that allows the use of a lighter, but more resistant and stable chassis.
A closed water channel gives greater rigidity to the cylinders, which stabilizes combustion, while the independent oil chamber design increases transmission efficiency and extends oil life.
