The thinking heads of the BUM YouTube channel surprise us again with one of those projects of theirs that we are accustomed to. On this occasion they have given life to a Honda ATC110 equipped with a 1000 cc and 180 HP engine. And to tell the truth, it is not the first time they have embarked on an adventure of this type, although it is on a three-wheeled base like the one offered by the ATC110.
Previously, they did the same with a Coleman CT200U equipped with a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade engine. With a weight of barely 70 kilos empty, you can imagine the crazy things that can be done at its command. We have learned about BUM’s new project first-hand thanks to the Visor Down colleagues, who in turn have echoed the video that the guys from Shred Eighty have uploaded to their YouTube channel. In it they show the test they carried out on the controls of the ATC110 protagonist in these lines, and they assure that: “We can safely say that it was like nothing we had ever seen before.”
And it is no wonder taking a look at how crazy the project is in all aspects. From the placement of the engine, through the absence of a suspension in the front axle or the mounting of Kar type tires. In short, a mechanical monstrosity of those that the members of the Bummotorsport team like to make so much and that, as it could not be otherwise, leaves good old Gavin Carlson, an expert in these matters, speechless.
Taking a look at the official BUM channel, in addition to this Honda ATC110 with superbike mechanics, they are also involved with other bizarre projects such as putting a turbocharger on the cheapest minibike on Amazon, or being tested with their new “Baja Benz”, a classic Mercedes-Benz transformed to be able to tackle any Offroad route that is proposed to it.
