As part of the Milan Motorcycle Show 2025, Lambretta has once again shone with its own light. The historic Italian brand, synonymous with urban style and elegance on two wheels, presents two models that condense its entire philosophy. That is, looking to the future without forgetting its roots.
On the one hand, the new Elettra S represents the firm’s definitive leap into the electrical world, while the renewed Lambretta J revives a legend born in the sixties to adapt it to the new generation of motorcyclists.
Since its birth in the Milan workshops more than seven decades ago, Lambretta has known how to reinvent itself without losing its essence. Its presence at EICMA 2025 is not only a product showcase, but a declaration of intent: the brand wants to lead the change towards cleaner and more emotional mobility, keeping its artisanal identity intact.
Lambretta Elettra S
The elegance of Lambretta It finally becomes electrified. Derived from the prototype that amazed in 2023, the Elettra S It is presented as the first 100% electric scooter developed by the factory. Its design maintains the classic lines that characterize the brand, but beneath that refined silhouette lies completely modern technology.
The heart of the Elettra S It is a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 4.0 kW of continuous power and reaches peaks of 6.0 kW, with a strong torque of 101 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 10 seconds and can go up to 90 km/h, offering a range of up to 120 km in Eco mode. Its 72 V, 4.5 kWh battery is fully recharged in about 5 hours and 40 minutes, or to 80% in just over three hours with fast charging.
The set, weighing 132 kg, incorporates a metal chassis, LED lighting, a TFT screen and a “” type front suspension.pull wheel” with double shock absorber, combined with a rear monoshock unprecedented in the brand.
Walter Scheffrahnpresident of Lambrettasums it up like this: “The Elettra S is not just an electric vehicle, it is a manifesto of beauty and responsibility.” By the way, its arrival on the market is scheduled for the second half of next year.
Lambretta J
More than sixty years after its debut, the Lambretta J returns reinterpreted. As it cannot be otherwise, the new J. It maintains unmistakable features of the original 1964 model, such as the elongated side panels, hexagonal headlight and slim seat silhouette, but updates them with modern materials and more refined execution.
The new J. It uses a metal body, double front shock absorbers and single-cylinder four-stroke, liquid-cooled, four-valve engines, available in 125 and 200 cc displacements. Its launch is scheduled for spring 2026, returning the firm’s more youthful spirit to the asphalt.
The Lambretta universe grows
Together with its 2 big stars, the brand exhibits the series in Milan G-Special G350a premium scooter designed by himself Scheffrahn and Peter Beselin. Also the futuristic X range (X300 and X125), recognizable by its diamond-cut steel panels and the consolidated V-Special (50, 125 and 200), which has kept the classic style alive since 2017.
In addition, the Racing Customs by Rimini Lambretta division exhibits high-performance editions based on the models G350 and X300.
As we are telling you, with this double presentation, Lambretta It shows that tradition and progress can advance in parallel. Your electrical bet with Elettra S and the nostalgic return of the J. They mark the beginning of a new stage in the history of the brand, which continues to expand its influence from Europe to Asia without giving up its Milanese soul.
