At first glance, this XL750 Transalp Rally Edition could seem a limited series launched by the Japanese firm itself, but nothing is further from reality. The ideologues of this Dakarian style version are the managers of an official Chilean dealership Honda, located in Providencia, Santiago, Chile.
It is full -fledged customization, which they themselves have designed based on a specific free and the endowment of some of the optional accessories offered by the brand to their customers. Among them include the side defenses and the forceful covers lower crankcase, the same one that Honda uses, for example, in its limited special transalp SP series, with only 250 units distributed among the authorized distributors of the MACA in Spain and Portugal.
Honda XL750 Transalp Rally Edition: Dakar Spirit
This special edition, on request, we have known it thanks to the Argentine companions of the Moto, who have also echoed it for the striking of the set. While we talk about a standard transalp 750, the elements selected by this Chilean dealership give it a distinctive touch enhancing the offroad image of the motorcycle. To do this they use a specific book where the corporate colors of Honda are perfectly paid: red, blue and white.
Then we have the CRF registration in the lateral fibers, printed vertically, and on this the name of the model, covering a good part of the tank. In the fork protectors, the name of the concessionaire and that of the Japanese brand is included, while in the front fender the Honda logo looks. The extra equipment of the transalp Rally Edition includes the aforementioned side defenses, the aluminum crankcase and the black hand protectors.
The official Transalp rate in Chile is 12,790,000 Chilean pesos, about 12,600 euros to change. To this we must add the optional equipment and special graphics, about 1,500 euros approximately.
Price more than justified taking into account the final result they have achieved with this transalp rally edition. It would not be bad for Honda to take note and offer us a similar finish in a general way, right?
