The protagonist of this video has worked hard enough to be the worst driver of the year. Although all the action takes place in Malaysia, the amount of atrocities that occur during the video is such that it has crossed borders, and everyone who sees it is left stunned.
To put it more clearly, it must be said that the accident, which could easily have happened in Lloret de Mar, Magaluf or Benidorm, given the civic-minded tourists who come here every summer, happened in Rawang, in the Gombak district, just over 20 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur, the country’s capital.
As we can see, the car is literally throwing sparks, and it does so for two obvious reasons. The first is because it is dragging a motorcycle for at least 500 meters. That is what witnesses of the situation say. But in addition, it is driving without the two tires on the right side, in addition to some additional damage to the car that could be the result of hitting the motorcycle.
Luckily the motorcycle driver did not suffer serious injuries.
Apparently and fortunately, the driver of the motorcycle did not suffer serious injuries, something that cannot be said of his poor motorcycle, which must have been left behind. In addition, according to those present, the driver showed clear signs of being drunk, although we do not know if he really was or not, because there is no evidence that the police arrested him.
We have already seen on other occasions that these situations can occur even due to medical problems of drivers. But even in that case, even if it were due to a medical treatment under which one cannot drive, I would not speak much better of the virtues of the one who is, for the moment, the award for the driver of the year 2024. Let us hope that no one is able to match such indifference to one’s own and others’ safety.
