We do not know if it copes or scares. Corleo is Kawa’s robot horse that wants to move the motorcycle

It could be December 28, the day of the Holy Innocents, but it is not. We are on April 7 and the Kawasaki Corleo is really the proposal with which Akashi’s sign says to have the key to solve the personal mobility of the future, clarifying that this robot, of similar forms to those of an equine, “It will allow people to travel safely to places that were previously inaccessible.”

It is not very clear what those areas are at any of us cannot access through an offroad vehicle to use, an aspect that we assume that the Japanese brand itself will clarify later. In any case, the presentation of vehicles such as this corle seems to begin to become our daily bread. Honda, for example, also delighted us relatively recently with the “Honda Koraidon project”, recently exhibited on the occasion of the “Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama”.

Kawasaki Corleo: “Impulse of Movement” outdoors

This is the way in which Kawasaki directly and concisely describes what would represent the corle within a future range of models. Recently presented on the occasion of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, it has left more than one half patidifuso, taking into account the initial approach that seems to give the mark to this robot driven by a hydrogen engine.

This is described to the Japanese firm: “Kawasaki’s revolutionary mobility off -road vehicle offers excellent off -road capacity, driven by four robotic legs, along with the handling and stability of kawasaki motorcycles. Without losing the joy of driving, the vehicle continually monitors the driver’s movements to achieve a comforting unit sensation between man and the machine. Mountain scale, breathe fresh air and enjoy views panoramic. “

In dynamic terms, the four legs of the corle work independently, allowing to absorb the impacts when walking and running. These are equipped with hooves with a structure divided from left to right, made of rubber, a material that absorbs the irregularities of the terrain and is non -slip. These hooves adapt to the various lands, where we want to enter.

Equipped with a 150 cc hydrogen motorthe corle equips a fuel tank mounted on the rear. The electricity generated feeds the propulsion units installed in each of the four legs. Through the instrument panel we can control the hydrogen level, the selected route, the position of the center of gravity and other information. At night, the corle projects markers on the road surface to indicate the way to follow.

Kawasaki Corleo: The mobility of the future goes through a "Robotic equine range" Hydrogen propelled

We do not know if the new “robotized equine range” of Kawasaki can take us to places where we did not arrive before. Nor if the Japanese brand will end up offering us ninja versions of such a model. We will really discover all this if the corle becomes a real model and instead of a motorcycle monkey we use a metal armor to pilot it …
