XTR Pepo leaves custom motorcycles after his controversial “Do Not Finish” project

Reaching the level of excellence in your work, as XTR Pepo (Spanish trainer Pepo Rosell) has done, is not easy nor, of course, cheap. We don’t know if related to the latter, the pasta, or not, Quantumthe new creation of the renowned specialist, could become the last one in which he works professionally within this complicated sector. In fact, he himself has expressed it personally in this video, where he speaks openly about everything that happened around this topic.

Such is the level of disappointment at XTR Pepo that Quantum has been renamed “Do Not Finish” following the mysterious disappearance of the client and non-payment of the final invoice for the job. Consequently, Rosell has announced that he is leaving the world of preparations, at least professionally, as he has been doing until now.

Quantum by XTR Pepo in detail

Developed on the basis of a Ducati Monster 900 from 1993Quantum became the dream of a Dutch client who in 2021 placed the order with XTR Pepo under a long list of demands. Subsequently, he sent the motorcycle disassembled along with a large number of accessories so that Rosell could start the project.

Already then Pepo realized that the motorcycle had passed through the hands of another preparer, based on the modifications that some of its components presented.

Even so, Work was also done on other essential aspects of the preparation, such as a tank with a Ducati 749 design made of carbon fiber, as well as the fairing, handcrafted single-seater tail and the two fenders.

On the other hand, he continued to focus on acquiring and assembling other essential pieces of the project, such as:

XTR Pepo unveils "Quantum"possibly the last preparation of his long professional career

With this endless number of modifications, XTR Pepo announces a wheel power of just over 80 hpfor a final weight of just 152 kilos. But the reality is that the motorcycle is in this state “Do Not Finish” since the end of 2021, pending completion of some minor aspects and essentially the front braking.

That is why Pepo Rosell has decided to put an end to his professional career, tired of informals, “mouth flip flops” and untrustworthy people. Behind him he leaves us with a wide repertoire of modifications under his own style full of nuances and good taste.
