Where to watch MotoGP Silverstone 2024: TV, schedules and info

Although for many the summer holidays are just beginning or there are still a few weeks left to start enjoying them, for others they are already over. And among them all, the members of the Motorcycle World Championship stand out because this weekend they return to competition in Silverstone, after several weeks of rest following the already distant German GP that turned the championship around.

And an impeccable Pecco Bagnaia managed to turn the situation around on the German track, helped, of course, by Jorge Martín’s mistake when it seemed he was very close to victory. We will have to see how both have assimilated the situation in these weeks and how they will manage a second half of the championship that we hope will be as exciting and intense as the first.

Bagnaia is leading the way, but Martín is still close behind and many others are ready to get between the two or overtake them both. It won’t be easy for them because the Spaniard and the Italian are the fastest riders so far this season, but we have occasionally seen riders capable of overtaking them.

Among those who are aiming for victory are Marc Márquez and Enea Bastianini, who are also the closest to the leaders in the general classification. And although we have had very fast riders, we are seeing that there are very few who have the consistency to fight for the podium at the end of the year, not to mention the championship.

That doesn’t mean that, for example, Maverick Viñales or Aleix Espargaró can shine this weekend with the Aprilia, on a track where both have performed very well, as has the bike, or that Pedro Acosta is back in the top positions. Of course, we can’t forget the rest of the Ducati riders, nor a rising Raúl Fernández who should also already have the 2024 bike.

In addition to all this, this weekend at Silverstone we will see celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of the World Motorcycle Championship and all the teams in the premier class will show off retro decorations. A different and special way that will attract the attention of the most nostalgic.

The battle is on in the second half of the season
