Since the beginning of 2023, content creator Carlos García Portal, alias Charly Sinewantravels around South America on a Ducati DesertX and tells his experience on a YouTube channel, which already has close to two million subscribers. In 2024, Sinewan also has the new DesertX Rally and takes a new step in his relationship with Ducati, to participate in different races on the Raids competition calendar.
The DesertX has become Charly Sinewan’s best companion for discovering Latin America, the current location of an adventure around the world that he started 14 years ago, and which he has been sharing on his social networks ever since. Sinewan signed an agreement with Ducati just a year and a half ago and in 2024, he is strengthening his relationship with the Borgo Panigale brand by getting behind the handlebars of a DesertX Rally.

With it, he will participate in different off-road competitions, the first of which was the Hellas Rally Raid, which took place from May 27 to June 2 in Greece. Charly Sinewan, a motorcyclist and adventurer, travels the world with his Ducati DesertX and has now accepted the challenge of riding the DesertX Rally in different races, and sharing the experience with his community through Rally Sinewan, a YouTube channel dedicated to this content.
Charly Sinewan had the opportunity to test the DesertX Rally in Madrid with the General Manager of Ducati Spain and Portugal, Carlos T. Lopez Panisello. Both were able to ride on the El Bunker circuit with both the Ducati DesertX and the Ducati DesertX Rally and discuss at length both the differences between the two bikes and the upcoming off-road models coming from Ducati.
The interesting chat between these two passionate people of the world of two wheels is now available on the Ducati Spain Youtube channel. The DesertX Rally is the sportiest and most daring off-road bike from the Italian firm, designed for lovers of rally raids and competitions, developed and tested in races such as the Erzbergrodeo. In addition, the DesertX Rally has adopted specialised and powerful solutions.
After the Hellas Rally, Charly has returned to South America where his adventure continues, but his next visit to the old continent will serve to participate in the event that brings together the most Ducati riders on the planet: the World Ducati Week 2024, which will take place at the Misano World Circuit from 26 to 28 July.
