After the recent launch of the new Kove 800X Pro and Kove 450 Rally, now the Asian firm shows its Offroad intentions with the future ones 450 Rally EX and Kove 800x Rally, two motorcycles that, in the words of the brand itself, are: “designed for long-distance races and tours, such as the Dakar rally and the Africa Eco Race, where Kove will be the protagonist, thanks to the complete support – technical, economic, experience of drivers and teams – from Pelpi Internacional.”
Kove finalizes details of its new Rally EX and 800X Rally
The first of them, intended exclusively for competition, announces greater power than the standard version of the model, as well as a more compact body design. Undoubtedly, it equips an endless number of parts ready to meet any requirement at the highest level. For example, a reinforced navigation tower mount and an actively switchable fuel tank.
The new engine is 20% lighter than the one used in the 450 Rally and increases power by more than 15%. After a year of continuous racing and testing, stability has also greatly improved. The brand announces a Replica version for early next year. Apart from the new design, it is identical to the bike that will participate in the Dakar. The brand announces for this year 12 drivers from 10 countries will participate with the respective Kove 450 Rally/450 Rally EX. This includes 2 drivers from the factory team, 2 drivers from the satellite team, 4 drivers from other teams and 4 unassisted group drivers.
Another of the most important developments from Kove for 2025 is the arrival of the new 800X Rally and the 800X GT, which will join the recently introduced 800X PRO. The most radical version of the 800X range, announces a dry weight of just 165kgimprovements in the suspension equipment and even the option of mounting a competition package to be able to participate in top-level tests. Kove has announced that the 800X Rally will launch globally in December 2024.
Regarding the 800X GT, this will include an electronic acceleration system, with cruise control, 4 driving modes and TCS. The 800X GT, focused on long-distance travel, will also feature a larger 22L fuel tank, 19- and 17-inch wheels, a raised windshield and a more comfortable driving triangle, etc. It will be launched globally in the second quarter of 2025.
Likewise, Kove also refers to new models that will arrive over the coming months, such as the 450R, developed on the basis of the 450 NK. Currently, it is in the emissions certification process, and for now the brand does not have a global launch plan.
Next to this we find the 250RR/250R, a small entry-level sports car and the Kove 350RR which will make its debut on the SSP300 after its launch in the civil version. The 350RR features an all-new frame and engine, as well as an aerodynamic exterior design, with a maximum power of 35 kW and a 10% reduction in wind resistance.
Returning to Offroad Kove announces the MX250 GEN2 equipped with a new engine with greater power and an optimized suspension system. Meanwhile, the MX450 will be officially launched very soon. This is equipped with the same engine as the 450 RALLY EX, but adapted for motocross use. For this, it has a lighter weight and greater explosive power.
Last but not least is Kove’s intention to enter in the E-MX segment Regarding this, the Asian firm states that “In the near future, more new energy MX models will appear on the track, and Kove will follow this trend.”
