Here is the ultimate trailer that is fully operational by one person.

Transporting a motorcycle on our own can be a real pain, and we all know it. But now, that has changed. With this trailer handmade by our engineer protagonist, getting the motorcycle up and down on your own is no longer a problem. It is now a simple and safe operation, both for the bike and for us.

On the channel “Meanwhile in the Garage”, they got fed up with the inherent problems of trailers and decided to put an end to this horrible problem. And, as you can see in the video below, they built a perfect one to transport our most precious machine. As a base, our friends used an old transport trailer.

If so, you may have already found the ideal trailer for your motorcycle and don’t want to change anything. In that case, congratulations! You probably don’t need to see what “Meanwhile in the Garage” has created to transport his bikes. But, if you are like most of us, you will probably want to watch it just to enjoy the extremely well-edited, competent and creative spectacle.

For those who don’t know, “Meanwhile in the Garage” is an impressive YouTube channel where a Belgian mechanical engineer, with a well-equipped workshop, big dreams and exceptional skills, shares his projects with the world. Even better, he really knows how to create engaging videos.

Why did they invent this ingenious trailer?

So, while there are motorcycle trailers on the market, this handy engineer decided it would be best to build exactly what he needed himself. And he got to work. Some parts were recycled from other projects, like an axle from another model, parts of a previous ramp, and other things. Speaking of ramps, that’s one of the key improvements that MWiG incorporated into its exclusive model. Yes, the trailer can lower and raise the motorcycle using an ingenious lever mechanism, similar to that of a stand.

This means the trailer can be lowered to ground level for loading and unloading motorcycles, and then raised to standard height when attached to the vehicle for transport. Amazing!

One-man operated trailer

As with all of these guys’ videos, there’s a lot of masterfully cut, bent, and welded steel to be seen. At times, he even gets his son involved in the project, which adds a charming touch to the project and is also a noteworthy example of fatherhood.

It is, without a doubt, an impressive project. And watching this man’s mind work to create his projects is half the fun. We just hope that this trailer can be commercialized, it is a great idea and very practical.
